As a little girl I can recall eating thick blocks of ginger stick. Please enjoy this simple recipe.
Recipe
One cup of ginger
Two cups of sugar
1/3 cup of water
*The smaller the ginger, the more gingery it is.
*Pour mixture in smaller pan if you want thicker blocks!
*If you grate the ginger on the grater no need to add water to the ginger itself.
*Store in an air tight container
