Just found out your video. The video comparison using reelsteady was really good. My concern is can reelsteady go stabilize long clip? Lets say 30minutes non-stop clip? Really appreciate if you can answer it. Thanks.

Love your work buddy and i see Mr Steele is building himself a dison mini, respect to you 👍🏼 I'm planning on building one myself once i get a spare used hero 6. Can i ask, what do you do if you get a new phone, can you not pair again once paired?
@Rimzler4 жыл бұрын
Thank you bro!☺️☺️ This drone is a great little tool! U have to save wifi and password of your camera, once u change phone u can log in the wifi network with those credentials! Also replugging the screen is always an option

@@Rimzler good shout bro and thank you 😊 i don't know if i can buy another drone without my wife going mad haha. I might try and put the stripped down hero 6 on a UR65 and if that struggles then a diatone 249 which I own and never fly. Thanks again bro. I think like the shendrones squirt, you have started something that could be huge. I wonder if Steele has contacts at gopro who you can pitch the idea to for a 'litepro'. 🤔

Looool try what u have first! U may discover something new! I hope this type of drone reaches as many people as possible, creating a big enough market for big players like GoPro to be interested in making a dedicated solution, I would do it myself if I had the knowledge

Great work dude! Can I use ReelSteady over caddx tarsier videos?
@Rimzler5 жыл бұрын
I tried but nope, Caddx doesn't record gyro data into the video file😭 maybe the old reelsteady works but I feel results may not be very good with a tarsier

Great video, I have a 5 inch quad with the GoPro hero 6, do you use the same vibration dampening mount for the hero 6 as the hero 7? Or can I use a standard mount for the hero 6?

hi! will the hero 7 be good enough to start with my first naked GoPro and real steady?

No it won't, hero 7 has issues with reelsteady! You need a 6/8/9

Can you tell me a little bit about the Reelsteady GO. What kind of video card would be necessary to edit with this software? I don't find any info about the video card requirements. Thanks

Great review! I have also been using ReelSteady Go for the past few months. Its an amazing tool! Well worth the $100, I'm running a Hero 6 with fw version 1.6, 4:3 4K, 30fps.. I find 4K 30fps works great if your raw footage is relatively smooth, if your quad has noise it struggles to correct it. I hope they have future updates to support the hero 7/8 without special mounts, I would really like to film at 4K 60fps! I may go back to 2K so I can get the higher frame rate/do slow mo clips.. Idk.. Also, I was told not to use nds w/this software.. I was also told not to film at 30fps, I assume the combo of too much nd and low framerate could lead to unusable footage as blur/lower framerate will both make it harder for the software to recognize the horizon etc.. and stabilize the footage. I will have to experiment..
@Rimzler5 жыл бұрын
Experimenting is key, my best results are at 2.7k any framerate so that's what I'm recommending! I'm not using ND filters on the hero 6 as I'm using auto shutter speed for ease of use, but with the hero 7 they are so useful!

hey bro. do you have any tips on getting the best footage out of runcam hybrid 4k?
@Rimzler5 жыл бұрын
I don't personally own one but I think my tarsier best settings tutorial would work perfectly with the runcam Hybrid as well, set it to record in 4:3 at the highest resolution available, no eis, flat colors and sharpness low, then use the GoPro studio app to give it superview and color with your favourite video editor

and no gpu support, only use single core (!) of your cpu, so slow. no codec, bitrate choice, automatically overwrite existing file, no audio when you cut some part. that's why i still didn't buy it
@abertheham4 жыл бұрын
that's probably why it's called reelsteady GO. It GOes faster because some of the processing power needed to make an HD video that much better is outsourced to a network supercomputer/server. That's the price to pay for being able to process videos so well and so efficiently. You can do it offline with ReelSteady onr After Effects, but there's a pretty considerable difference in render time. (at least, that's my hypothesis)
