Deep inhale, I'd eyeballed the stacatto for a couple years, and couldn't make up my mind on which I wanted to carry it and was afraid the p would be cumbersome so I talked about the c2 more but, never could bring myself to spend that on a pistol. My wife got me a c2 a couple months ago (yes she is the coolest wife ever, marry your best friend fellas then do nasty things to her to give her reasons to stick around) I can say yes they're worth it, I'm now waiting for hers to come in (don't tell her it's a surprise) I'd never spend it on myself and she'd never spend it herself but, we won't hesitate to spend it on ea other. Now I've got to start hinting about either a p w the ice comp and steel frame or the xc (I can pull the comp on the p and make it carry since I got the c2 I realize I can carry bigger I'm 5'5" and 210-220 depending on time of year as to do I wanna be pretty or do I wanna feel like I can wrestle a bear) also sorry for the long comment I'm excited for hers to come in and to see her reaction since she loves mine so much and I like your style so Comme t for all gore's rhythm or something like dat.

That’s awesome she bought you a C2, and I’m sure she will love hers as well. I will probably eventually get the CS for carry. It looks like a great pistol also.

@@gearrunner I thought about it but, the proprietary mags changed my mind (ya know how the c2 mags can be found all over the place in comparison especially here in Appalachia where nobody knows what stacatto is lol) . I've got a p365x if I need something small. The oracle 2311 has my interest but, like the prodigy has shown us I won't be trying them until they're more proven (I may or may not have some 320 mags laying around)

I shot an XC at a Bob Keller class this week and that thing is amazing. Bob is with Gamut Resolutions, was in the Unit, and is a Staccato brand ambassador and had all the Staccatos. LOL I shot my P in the class but shot the XC after class one day. I shot somewhat rapid fire and literally hit all 20 rounds in about a 2" group. It was fricking awesome!!! Felt like cheating. This thing will be in my collection soon!!!

I have a Staccato P and I sourced a C2 grip module for it. Makes for a great concealed carry setup and it's not a big deal to switch the grip modules back and forth if you need to. Each grip module does have the Atlas flat trigger fitted to it and I highly recommend them!

I think the DLC coating is for Staccato made parts. I just looked at my guide rod and after 500 rds it looks like maybe parkerized finish. I don't think the tool-less guiderods from Dawson coming in blacked out finishes

That makes sense then. It’s the only thing on the pistol that isn’t blacked out

Two questions: I have a sig P365x macro and HK USP compact for carry. I won’t be carrying my staccato. That said…. Which one would you buy? 2) do you think the Diamond coating is worth the extra cost. And will it stand up to time. Or should I save my money and buy an optic instead? Ok, we’ll a third question. Im seriously torn between the C2 with a PMM comp or a P-nonthreaded. It seems theyd end up close to the same length.. but i have big retard hands and the P “feels” better in my hand. That said.. i havent felt a C2 with a magwell. Anyone have any input on what the magwell does for XXL hands? How about shootability.. comp’d C2 has gotta be close or better than a P in recovery time, no?
