are the optic ready duty level 2 holster compatible with SRO? i see how close the RMR is to the optic cut. I just bought two holsters and don't want to mod a brand new holster.

The SRO fits in some holsters, but it depends on the firearm model. Usually it does not work. Unfortunately this holster was designer prior to the SRO’s introduction, so we didn’t account for its size when making the it. We’re working on a solution.

@@DaraHolstersandGear is it that the issue lies with the hood not being long enough so when it swings out of the way, it hits the top of the optic, or is it the problem or the optic cut is not long enough so the front of my SRO will hit the holster

@@rytacarms I got a Tier 1 Centurion (STI 5”) it’s not bad… but imma have to heat treat it to get a better fit. However I found another company that I’m going to order from. It’s a safari land holster built just for the TRI-11

Just got my Staccato P Duty Holster from Dara holsters and the button to drop the hood does not function like they advertise. You have to push it so far down to get it to actuate that you can’t get a good draw. This was going to be my duty but I can’t trust my life with this holster.

Hi hunter, I will have customer support reach out to you. Each hood should have been tested prior to shipment. The button does have to be pushed intentionally. If it was too touchy- it would be accessible by accident. All of the hood demonstrations in this video show the hood being pushed firmly down until movement stops. We will definitely take a look at your holster and swap it out for you if need be!

We only add new firearm options when there is an overwhelming request or when a firearm manufacturer sends us a new model. In this case, the number of requests couldn't be ignored. The Staccato is huge for competition right now.

This is not what this holster looks like. The cutout in the hood is not there. Hate the misrepresentation

The notch in the hood isn’t on your holster? It should be, that’s how the holsters are shipped.
