Thers no mansion. In the future, its all in the spiritual realm. God dwells in man, man in god.

John 14:2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

@@ChristisLord the tabernacle then the temple is Gods dwelling place in the old testament. Jesus came and tabernacled among us, in his resurrection he became the Spirit/ 1 cor 15:45. In the book of acts, those who believe are regenerated. They are the ekklesia, the called out ones,the church. Hence, just as the church is not a physical bldg. The many abodes in john is not physical but a group of believers dwelling in God as an enlarged expression of God. It doesnt make sense that when one dies, hes ultimate destination is a physical mansion.

The longest trial I've ever faced has been these last 4 plus years ... An unknown sickness in my body . I have been healed many times in the past and this time, I find that God has delayed and has caused me to wait and trust ... My prayer is that ''My faith shall not fail'' ... I wait !

I love listening to Spurgeon's sermons. This was so needed. The past few months have been hard. There are some things happening in my life right now that are causing me a lot of distress. I am hoping and praying for a certain outcome in all of it. Would appreciate prayers. ❤

Job,,was tested.. .he never turn away from God'....
@tomlewis6329 ай бұрын
I always thought that the book of job, was a template for the Christian life. God himself said that he would test you. To see if you really believe. The principle of the test….. extends to every area of your life. Learn it, or suffer as you continually ask why….It was a long time coming before I figured it out….I hate being tested…..but that is the way it is. Measure up to it, or be crushed by it. He will give you grace if you stand. But know…. He is not moved by our tears, only by our faith. Make up your mind to trust….. there is no other way. I wish there were…..

You literally, perfectly summed up the book of Job!!! "I detest the human condition." is supposedly the more accurate translation of what Job said to God at the end, before God sovereignty restored Job.

Except our Lord how could survive this long He guided us most difficult hours of our lives Kept us safe most vulnerable days when enemies attacking us constantly Gave us the strength and light in darkest hours Showed the way out.

Yes, not yet saved believers are tested by trials! But not for the ones that's been chosen to be saved, converted redeemed and born again from above in the spiritual Church of Christ. Because they are hidden in Christ and God in heaven until their flesh body dies or still alive when Christ returns for His Church!!!

Yeh, waaay tired of trials. What purpose do they serve? What purpose doth any of this life make? Eighteen years of it, continually, and in multiples. Of what value is any of it? We could have stayed in Heaven and done without all this ... Just to make God happy? His plaything, serves me not ...

I think the trials we go through have the purpose of softening our hearts over time. Sometimes I feel like it's too much and hard to understand. But I believe they are slowly making me a more loving person. Hopefully in time we will look back and be grateful for the transformation our trials put us through. Like a rock with many sharp edges becoming a smooth beautiful stone. I hope you are having a good week.

Oh how I remember when I was 18 . . . had outgrown my parents . . . knew it all . . . listened to no one . . . did what was right in my own eyes . . . but then, I was responsible for the life of another . . . but then I grew up . . . but then, I finally started to learn . . . Now, I look back & see all the times I was being prepared for the next thing I would face & how to handle it . . . Now, I understand the scripture that describes how the potter shapes the clay. Now, I know that I have so much more to learn!
