Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 - January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

So thankful to God my Heavenly Father, who having shown me by His Holy Spirit, the paucity of today's preachers led me straight to this powerful teaching, the likes of which I have never before come across since I was first saved over thirty four years ago. Be assured that daily now, again led by the Holy Spirit, I am making contact with many Christian friends that they may also come and be blessed by this most excellent teaching, so much in these days of apostasy so vast as to be almost total. Because of this I and many more Christians here in Ireland have nothing in the way of regular fellowship but again at the leading of the Holy Spirit am also much blessed by the reading of the comments made on these videos, almost fellowship in its own way as we take note of what like minded believers also get of blessing from listening to these videos and may God bless the wonderful reading of the excellent narrator, of particular blessing to people like myself that at times may have problems from my hearing aids. Thank each & every one of you involved in making this solid teaching so easily accessible to us and please join me in thanking and praising God that I have at the grand age of 83 years an ability to use technology and to do so with such great ease, because of His love & mercy. Greetings from Ireland. Please remember our Roman Catholic people in prayer. But for the great grace of God, I too and my family would still be among them.

My mother has become a thorn. Please pray for her that she escape alcohol and the rest. She uses her words to hurt and kill. She is malicious. She sows distention into my family at every opportunity. She sees nothing wrong in what she does. God help me I am no better than anyone. Surely I am no better than her. Nevertheless please pray for my mom. She is blind to her actions and blind to her words. She gets pleasure from the pain of her children and from the pain of others. She does not believe. She says she does but she does not. Watching her slowly be destroyed is extremely painful. I will continue to pray. She is the opposite of what she once was. She lashes out in her pain to cause pain in others. I believe God has taken great pains with her to keep her alive and surrounded by blessings even in this wretched state. But she sees none of the good. She sees only the bad. She invents evil where there is no evil. I have no brothers or sisters to help persuade her. Please pray lest this terrible fate be her end.

I was a very educated "christian". I knew a ton. I even followed the Holy Spirit some times, and walked in faith, but, the larger part of me, was worldly. fleshly. I loved politics, arguments, debate, winning at all costs. I was mostly rude and prideful. arrogant and destroyed others with my mouth constantly. I lived this way for years. I caught a glimpse of myself several times, and wrote a letter to myself to change. to let go of politics and God was telling me to. I didn't. I became totally evil and wicked in 11 months... I still had some ideas of God, thought about Him. and good.... but since I last saved a picture of scripture to my phone... it took 82 days for me to fall completely into evil. Gods presence left me, or so I thought. terrified with a brain issue, eyes couldn't see correctly. couldn't sleep unless I was awake for 23-26 hours. then I only slept ONE hour. I was terrified. I knew I was going to Hell. that I left God. BUT GOD reached out to me, and is leading me back to Him. it is like being reborn. I now see how evil I was. He gave me back peace, rest, took away the terror, gave me sleep, and the Holy Spirit even talked to me again. God may choose to place you mother "in the wilderness" to rebuild her. That may be the only way to show her how she has been. for verses about the wilderness, check out Hosea chapter 2 and 3. Keep praying. Don't despair. God is saving and leading me back, and although we " All have sinned and fallen short of God's glorious standard". and " all our righteousness are filthy rags" .... "none is good, no not one"... I seriously deserve Hell. but " His mercies are new each day" " God is faithful"... Pray to Him, and pray for her. " we cannot return the rebel" only God can. Hang in there. And ask God for help. trust Him, His plans, His timing.

I have the same problem with my Mom, although maybe not to the extreme of inventing evil but no the less, her stubbornness is “evil” always right even if proven wrong 😑 I’ve tried to be patience with her and praying for her, I will pray for you and your mother, Brother 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
