Congrats! I just finsihed mine. Please make sure your temp probe is inside. I accidentally cooked 70, yes 70, unhatched eggs (45 candled as full grown chicks on day 17). My temp probe fell out onto the floor and the incubator kept running. Not trying to scare you, but things like that can happen. I did get 50 hatched chicks out earlier that day though.

This is an awesome cage! Well done. Several years back I built a roll around indoor cage using conduit for the 4 legs and attached the legs to the wire cages with adjustable clamps. I was able to create a cage setup in a very short time. I put wheels on the ends of the conduit so I could roll the cage rack around.

Nice! I make my cages with the slanted poop tray in front and I clean by using a squeegee and scraping it into a tote on a wheeled cart. When done I dump the manure/peat moss mess into contractor bags with holes punched with a screwdriver. This keeps smells, and flies down for the neighbors. I have a tray system on my brooder but am going to change it out to the scoop system because it is so much quicker and easier for the cleanout. If it rains though I would be concerned that the quail would get wet by wind driven rain without a wide top or canopy over it. They also will not be sheltered from winds. Not criticizing though as you made great cages and have helped so many people with your designs and you channel.

What do you mean by scoop system
