It ticks me off when singers such as her with NATURAL RAW talent are not acknowledged; whereas those who have very little, to no talent are receiving fame!

This is Stacy Lattisaw at her very best. Her voice was made for singing slow melodic ballads. In my mind, this is her best song. It brings out the sexiness and the elegance in her.

Loved her back in the 1980s! She was already talented for her years back then. I have a CD of her greatest hits, and this song (Motown #1912) is on it. I'm 52 now, and I still listen to her every chance I get. She was, just like the name of one of her other hits, pure "Dynamite!". I bet she still is today. She is now living near Washington, DC, married with two children. I think she does gospel songs now.

I love that rush of water at the end. It's weird, on Unsung she said that they wanted her to do sexy stuff and she didn't want to, because she knew she was an example for other young girls, which I can respect, maybe when she felt grown and sexy, things were different, because this was and is a very powerful, soul stirring sexy a$$ song! She was sangin'!!!
