Extremely useful review with testing of the product in combination with a big number of apps. More info than I expected and I was very delighted. Keep going this way, Teoh! I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 from 2019. When studying languages with other alphabeth it's so useful when practicing writing. Japanese/Chinese or what I'm busy with now - RUSSIAN - the Cyrillic alphabet. Using the tablet saves paper = saves money. To learn efficiently you have to write the words.... So even at an extra cost for the pen, it's so nice to keep writing and erasing "for free". Works great!

Just wanted to thank you Teoh on Tech. I have been lurking through your channel for about a year now; initially, to do some research on graphic tablets. This has been my daily driver for all my galaxy tablets. Favorite feature is the eraser! The nibs also feel very close to the soft official s-pen tip and the larger size is very comfortable. Just wish it was magnetic to stick to the tablet.

Quite interesting! I am most likely getting one of these. I liked that they seem to need less activation force (typically great for subtle painting touches) and that you seem to have it easier to make thin lines with it. It surprises me to no end, as usually the standard pen from the brand is the one using better the tablet (ie, iPad's Pencil). From what I see, the staedtler seems to have more range of pressure!

i jst purchased the staedtler classic. i wanted to see if there was a better pen than the one that came with my concept D 7, i can honestly say the concept D pen is much more pressure sensitive, you have to push harder with th staedtler.

Actually, for me the side button is a plus... but I am used to Wacom for years (and always configuring there the undo and the color pick functions... ). In that regard, I believe then I'll keep using the S-Pen :)

Hello! For erasing in Samsung Notes, did you enable the "Area eraser" before trying to erase with the Noris Digital Jumbo? That way it won't just erase the whole stroke. Or does or just erase the whole stroke regardless? Thanks!

Both are equally good at taking notes. The main reason to get this Staedtler is for the body design which is more comfortable. But if you're fine with your current S Pen, there's no point getting a new pen that does what your old pen can already do.

most balanced pen in terms of price/performance the greatest strength is that it supports pro pen 2 nibs used on cintiq/intuos products, which the s pens do not (due to dimensional difference). That means you can find them for cheap.

I have the original and I love it feels just like a pencil. I couldn't stand the spen it's good for note taking but not drawing (for me). Not having a button is a big plus for me too because of pressing it by mistake all the time.. the jumbo seems alittle to thick, it's almost the size of a marker. Tha KS for the review. @@1996starter If the screen protector is thin enough, it will not affect the pen performance. Those thicker glass protector may affect pen performance. I'm using my tablet mostly at home so I don't need screen protector. I just use a flip cover case.

@mryoyo I was able to get it to work with my s22 ultra phone. It is amazing! It does the tiny detail lines and feel great to me. I also love pencil sketching so maybe I'm biased. I'm so glad I was able to get it to work. I did have to push the setting button that allows me to use it without having to remove my s pen all the time.
