I absolutely love corsets! I don't understand why some people think they're trashy and hate them. They follow your curves and pull it all in, unlike a zip that falls flat and unless you're super skinny, won't work for most people.
@lindaleelaw5277 Жыл бұрын
Corsets don't belong on wedding dresses its just that the ties adjust to size
@wafflecat32 Жыл бұрын
Historically corsets have worked better on plus sized women than skinny women, because in plus sized women there's more soft tissue to shape. A plus sized woman would also find a corset more comfortable because there's padding between the corset and her internal organs and bones. With a skinny woman (if you're trying to get a significant waist reduction) it's literally just steel compressing bone. Not very comfy, and doesn't do much to shape the figure.

Of course it's not their wedding. But the bride brings them for their opinions. If they don't give it, then they didn't need to be there. You just want everyone to always agree with the bride. Sorry, but that isn't going to happen. They can support her by telling her what they think and then go on. The first bride's entourage did that (except for her mom). Why do brides bring opinionated people with them when they know they're going to cause disagreements?

The bride is the thinnest one in the group and her entourage is jealous of her.

1st dress definately. On another topic, and of course my opinion, Camille should lose the liner on lips and go with a liner a colour that is the same or close to,on lips. She looks like a circus entertainer.

I think that's a NYC look. 🤣 And the over-done eye makeup adds to the old clown look.

Dear bride can you express what do you like in your first dress, that the consultant is moving in the right direction. I am disappointing that the consultant does not step up in the interest of the bride, to make her feel very beautiful.

I’m glad she’s happy. I personally thought the dress she picked was not flattering on her with the bunching

I understand, why the entourage didn't like the first dress. It wasn't classy and timeless. But it suited her figure.

Kudos to the bride for standing her ground even if the dress is downright unflattering and hideous, you go girl 🙌

it annoys me when the bride says they love the dress even after their friends/family says they hate it. then after the bride is set on getting the one she likes that's when everyone is like "oh i love it"

I'm not a huge fan of the dress but the others looked horrible on her! I'm glad she went for the first one especially when she said she loves it and it fit her so well. Good for her for sticking up for herself! We all need to remember this. You love the dress to the point where you're almost in tears or already crying stick up for yourself and don't listen to the people you invited. But can we talk about the other bride? That dress on her is beautiful! Wow!
@SewFrancine61202 жыл бұрын
Biggest issue is that mom and the aunt have no fashion sense, and I can't imagine what they wore to this beautiful daughter/niece's wedding. The consultant should have brought more dressing with that style. I agree that if the people don't like the dress, it's their job to say something but, here's the deal with a little kindness.
