It's difficult to quantify what it does, and for some weapons these talents do nothing. 90% of players are not gonna look for video explanations or scour google spreadsheets, and they shouldn't have to- Stagger should be shown in game and what it can do, and it should show you the changes these talents make. Plus, stagger gets a bad rep from shields knocking them in a 360 area instead of knocking them to where you're aiming/backwards from their position

Stagger is one of most important things to learn and it becomes noticeable only on Legend and Cata, that's why Champion players experience a culture shock because all of a sudden their daggers aren't staggering as well as a great hammer anymore. 😂

Stagger power is the difference between fighting a horde on the back heel or pushing through on the front foot.

Being able to stagger Maulers and Stormvermin with the dual hammers light attack with prayer of might is SUCH a helpful strength to keep these enemies at bay during hordes and gives the damage dealing players enough time in the heat to deal with the threat. Well now i have to test and see what Opportunist and Prayer of Might are capable to do with the dual hammers. If i´d be able to stagger Berserkers with that, then i´ll wink Swift Slaying good bye. Warrior Priest lacks high damage to deal with big threats like Chaos Warriors and stagger resistent Units in groups quickly, so then lets make him a stagger monster and let others deal with the threats instead. At least there is now something Warrior Priest can be exceptional good in. Although, Wet Magic, have you tested how much more stagger power you´d get for Warrior Priest if "Empowered Smite" would be active? I know Comets Fury is situational since it can´t somehow charged and stored for later when the time is right, but it would be interesting if Warrior Priest is capable of even staggering a Chaos Warrior or Packmaster with it active.

@@WetMagic Yesterday i have tested Dual Hammers with Opportunist and Prayer of Might, i still seem to have problems to stagger Berserker Enemies with it. not as successful as Knight Kruber does. Only the heavy Shield and Flail attack seem to have some effect so far, but not as consistent as hoped but it does seem to be able to stagger Chaos Warriors when they are not in an attack animation. but that needs some more testing.

Opportunist description should be changed. It should read "Increases stagger power by 50% when attacking an attacking enemy" Well... Now I feel vindicated in not running swift slaying on most of my weapons. Opportunist is insanely powerful when used correctly.

I run stagger power on my WPoS, and it is honestly the best thing there. I love it when I first played running this prayer with my friends with longer ult duration, and the feeling of being literal Moses among the tide of Skaven

With WP stagger bonus you can even stun "Relentless" monsters with proper ults in chaos wastes. If that wasn't already patched because this is probably an unintended feature.

I've been running this combo for Foot Knight when I got my first red weapon for him just recently, which was the Great Hammer. I'm able to knock berserkers silly with just a few overheads swings, so they're not that scary. Without it, its a lot harder to knock them rotten.

This information is invaluable. This is the second (or third) video I've watched from you that explains trait/game mechanics that are hidden for some reason. I would have been running this on shields a long time ago if they had just given me the information. This makes me curious, how are you able to find this stuff out? Random testing?

I always use stagger over health for wp since you are much more likely to eat less hits. plus when is use dual skull splitters and holy greathammer, skullplitters great for farm temp hp quickly and the wide swings of the greathammer give you a lot of breathing room

Hey man i love the video, i watched this back seven ish months or so ago and made a pretty sweet foot knight stagger build with the longsword just like you showed. I then stopped playing for a bit and ive come back to the game recently, i am unable to stagger chaos warriors out of their overhead with the bret long with opportuninst and with staggering force equiped. Was there a change to this that i missed cause i cant find anything on it ?

One thing i do like about the +15% health talent is that with +20% health on a necklace can put you at 203 health

Stagger is great, but the talent design in the game often makes you choose between it and damage output. In most situations it's better to just kill stuff faster.

Is there anything of note WP can stagger with PoM but without Opportunist besides Maulers with the Paired Skullsplitters? I'm going to have to test every weapon against every enemy aren't I.

When I haven't played in a while and need a warm up, or my illness is getting the way of playing well, I tend to go back to Veteran difficulty. I once did this with Prayer of Might Warrior Priest, saw the talent give me enough stagger to interrupt Plague Monks and said ''By Sigmar! That feels good!''. Back to our regularly scheduled Champion runs and it doesn't work anymore. How am I supposed to know anything about stagger without looking it up? How was I supposed to know that Opportunist increase stagger and does it for all attacks even?

Is there a list of Warrior Priest weapons that reach stagger breakpoints with Prayer of Might but without Opportunist? (I prefer Swift Slaying.) Or do I need Opportunist? The Stagger Breakpoint guide by Ars0n does not include Warrior Priest info.

you might be able to look at the equivalent weapons from other careers (like dual/single hammers on bardin, and iirc the flail borrows its heavy from the normal flail) to see what %vs they need, and use that to figure out how to meet that as WP, but for WP only weapons you are SoL.

It all would stack, but for foot knight I don’t think it would do much extra although it would probably depend on the weapon I suppose.

WOW really informative. Now if I can only know what "proc" is in V2. Every youtuber says it but what does it mean and what is the full word....Procedure? Produce? No one ever says what the full word is so it's abbreviation leaves me clueless.

I'm not sure where it is said in this vids but I'm gonna assum it means what it usually means^^ the original meaning was "Programed Random OCcurence". ie effect on your stuff that would hapen outside of your direct action so you have to use them when they happen. For exemple swift slaying proc on a critical strike and you now have a limited time to profit of it. Nowaday it can also describ any effect occuring from time to time, even if you can control it.

Proc is a slang word meaning that something is triggered. It could be a particular effect, or like a crit or something. It can apply really to any effect in gaming. For example if You’re using elf’s dual daggers, doing light attacks will cause a small amount of bleed damage. You could say that you were able to proc the bleed damage. It’s just gamer slang.

anyone have a VOICE cause i really wish fatshark would buff tanks up with stagger taunt if tanks had enough stagger power AND MORE IMPORTANTLY if they had shields and two handed hammers that cause more stagger, it would make it more fun instead of just high damage that taunts the target but high stagger should also taught the bosses as well for a certain duration at least before the boss becomes immune to it for like 10seconds. it would be nice if stagger not really stun locking the bosses but would apply a taught to them as well for 6seconds. cause alot of high damage classes don't use high stagger weapons so..... it would be nice to have stagger taunt bosses for a little bit but become immune after a short duration to stagger weapons. but ults will still work.

Being able to even stop Beserkers and Plague monks by interrupting their combos is so damn satisfying since they otherwise often disable at least one teammate for a couple seconds by forcing them to block and hold their defense. Generally when playing FK Kruber I tend to go mace and shield with opportunist and staggering force, makes you feel like a slower moving version of your ult with how unstopable you are. It's also funny as hell to stagger lock a CW with the bash to top light.

I have been using opportunist for year already. Increased survivality a lot to whole team and to myself. Plus I still manage to hit the green circles. Honestly I have no clue why anyone would use anything else on higher difficulty. Especially since frenzied monks and berserkers are generally reason why people go down.

still a meme class that needs a complete rework, dps-tank hybrid build - hot garbage, pure tank - massively downgraded version of IB, there's literally no reason for playing foot knight except for rp. Overall Kruber feels like Fatshark's unwanted child that just fills the role of the fifth character, all of his classes have better counterparts: merc - brawler with clutch potential that keeps the team alive=handmaiden, huntsman - dps sniper=bh, footknight - tank=iron breaker, graal knight - elite, boss deleter = shade. The king of mediocrity, probably my least played character after 3.1k hours
