This is one of the best songs on the album in my opinion. It's so badass and raw. It's good to see how far Aaron's come, away from his dark/depressing days, but there's always gonna be a part of me that misses this side of his music/Staind. I admit, though, the newest 2011 record was pretty good and a great effort at doing something closer to their roots.

This album was pretty much my high school soundtrack. Stumbled onto "Nameless" on Napster right after "Mudshuvel" came out. I feel the entire work perfectly exemplifies what years of toxic relationships, isolation, and bullying can do to someone's mind. 20+ years later i'm still fighting the anxiety and panic attacks that started when i was 15. And 20+ years later, this album still hits just as hard as the first time i heard it.

It always vexes me when I see people refer to Dysfunction as their first album. Lol, no, man. Staind were tearing it up even more before that, and it is quite sad that it has never earned proper recognition. Tormented is most definitely a trump card in the nu metal furor.

I personally think their newer stuff isn't that bad. When I first heard this album man it blew my mind away, I thought Aaron Lewis was angry in Dysfunction but man was I wrong. I feel like staind got a song/album for every mood you're in.

@Staindfan73 it's a natural harmonic about a quarter up the third fret, and the whammy bar provides the bend... have to have a floating bridge guitar to do it this way but yeah you can achieve a similar sound with pinch harmonics but it's not the same
