This is really pretty! I have a question though, would polishing remove parts of the patina?
@ARTyRV6 ай бұрын
You can polish the patina right of, yes. So be careful, use a light hand.

Do you also use the baking soda method to clean lead panels? Then just rinse off with damp cloth? Amateur in training 😊 Thanks for your great videos.

Not for leaded windows.

Thank you. Do you have a video showing how you clean a panel? Would appreciate tips in this regard. TIA

If you're just starting out, can you grind/shape the glass with a dremel?
@ARTyRV Жыл бұрын
You can, but it’s dusty so wear a mask. Also a grinding stone works good and we have one here for $23. amzn.to/3xTZ5Yk

I'm trying to cut the angles to make a block "O" that is approximately 6 1/4" H X 4 5/8" W. There will be 8 pieces of red glass that I will be wrapping with foil and solder together to make the Ohio State block "O" as a gift. I'm having trouble with cutting the angles to get 8 pieces to fit together accurately.

Your pattern is your guide. Number the side that faces up. Use a straight edge, grind lightly. Good luck!
