Q, For the lead pieces that go up to the frame, do you tuck a little of the lead edge under the lead frame or just go up to and as close as you can get so when you solder you get a smooth edge?

Hi, been looking for the stanton stretcher and cannot find anywhere, is there another tool that you recommend thats comparable?

Ty, unfortunately Tom Stanton passed in 2015, so it probably won't be in production again, was wondering what other tool I could use as I'mgetting back into stained glass again, pliers i guess? I blew glass at Holy City Art Glass with him for a couple years before he passed, he was an awesome guy!

Why do you need to stretch the lead?
