Hello, Chic, I'm very thankful with your videos, learning a lot about building for SL, buuuuuut..... Physics is still a trouble for me, I followed step by step your videos and others videos, different methods, explanations, some using Sketchup and Blender, some using only Blender, the majority describing what they do finally but not how they get the best result. Each time that I try to upoad a mesh in SL beta or normal, my mesh buildings (doors, etc.) simply don't work. I can't walk through them nor inside them, although I change to prim in features tag in edition. My more complicated mesh, my house for SL, worked by miracle but in wrong way, I could walk though the door, fly over and land inside but not all rooms can be walked, in some of them I walk climbing, or only can walk in the middle of the room without chance to go to the corner in front, for example. I analized, review triangles, but I simply can't It would be nice that you could do a step by step tutorial to do this. And, by the way, even doing UV map inside walls appear transparents! Did you watch the video on HOUSE physics also? It is pretty step by step. If that didn't get you what you needed, you must be missing something along the way (easy to do; physics is a difficult skill to grasp). I suggest making something VERY SIMPLE first like a garage with just a door and see if you can get that to work. Make the walls separate from the floor and ceiling and upload just the walls and see if you can get the physic correct. If you still have issues take some screenshots and post them on the SL MESH Forum. There are lots of people there to help. If you use the CUBE physics method you want to be sure and analyze and if you are using planes you do not. Also depending on the complexity of your physics you may need to use the official Linden viewer to upload (this at the beginning of 2018 as third party viewers do not have the new codes integrated yet). I am fine. Just said all I wanted to say. Also 2.8 came out and I am still using 2.79 for most things so my info is not all that relevant any longer. Thanks for your concern. Appreciate it. :D
