Equestria is canonically pretty much the only place where harmony (And thus, friendship) reigns, and a significant portion of the later seasons is about Celestia engaging in cultural imperialism. Inviting the children of the elites of the world to come study magic at her school and then bombarding them with her ideology, actively engineering friendships between races hostile to eachother, and so on. The moral of the last season can be basically articulated as "Integrated schooling can prevent a race war." if you were to state it in adult terms. This thesis gains its greatest challenge when the villains from across the entire show decide they're sick of getting dunked on, with a super racist pony who decides "Friendship" is a tool that can be used for evil too, creating a league of racists and supervillains. The "A better way to be bad (Frenemies)" song goes over it.

The reason why you didn't have emergency measures is because you didn't activate them while stabilizing the government, always remember to check your decisions in EaW, they can be vitile to the path you choose to play! Kinda wish this mod had a built in path guide though, some paths are just ridiculously hard to do because it's easy to mess up if you click the wrong thing. Btw, if you want to spread some communism play the Griffon Liberation Army, and if you want to go on a crusade against communism then play Brodfeld.

another good commie path is the one for Hippogriffia, which involves a lot of nukes, as well as moral choices like a good and bad ending...

And if you want to see some of the zanier things that can happen (Though, I recommend a less crowded part of your schedule, due to restarts); Yale Rectorate. Three different Professors can lead the charge to unite the Empire and have different effects. My personal favorite is the Necromancy Professor. Throne needs a Grover, after all. There's also Nicolas in Flowena. The Prince. Learn whether it truly is better to be feared or loved.

Yeah, maybe we should've made it clearer about how Emergency Measures operate. In our defence, this path was made under incredible amounts of crunch, as we had to throw out the previous version of it entirely and rebuild it nearly from the ground up very close to the deadline for the River Fed update.

If you want an inverse of this in terms of playstyle but still massively fun, highly recommend the Princely Restoration for Lake City. You go on to make the River Empire and then subsequently place yourself on the Griffon Throne (which most of the Griffons don’t like but hey, you’re the one in the chair)

For a heads up, there are several small scale wars that each member of the Coalition can pursue. For Wittenland it's Barrad, as Barrad was once a county of the nation before it split off and became independent. For Diamond Mountain it's Hellquill, because in the past Hellquill led a raid that ended with them stealing the mountain's hoard, and they want it back. For Lake City it's a whole lot of things if Westerly Lee is in power. Lushi, Gryphus and Longsword.

Great video! I agree that the Griffonia continent offers some of the most enjoyable late game content in EaW. You can pick almost any nation on that continent, and the campaign will always arrive at a gamestate where 2-3 superpowers are sharing the entire continent, and they will inevitably clash in a series of truly massive wars.
