No public money for private profits. Billionaire Jerry Reinsdorf received hundreds of millions in free taxpayer dollars to have his current stadium. IT is not our duty to hand free money to a billionaire so he can make more money.

This is why mega developments suck. It's become expected in Chicago. Even Halsted Point (a large development but not quite mega), won't break ground until 2029, and won't be finished until well into the 2030s.

The time horizon on that is unacceptable. There seems to be a real flaw with megadevelopments. The public faith in them is gone. I want to see new developments.
