Yes, likewise! The Restoration is very underrated IMO - not as famous as empire, but in a way improved, more harmonious empire!

The timing of this video! I just bought a "boat bed", which yes I call "sleigh bed" yesterday from a fabulous Provence B&B! its old and not even close to this quality but its a small twin sized and just love it! sadly its Mahogany veneer so needs some restoration

Nice bed, short since people were rather half sitting when they were sleeping, something we might only do nowadays when we are sick. Here at the château we have a Louis XVI bed stamped G+JACOB and I guess it is the same stamp used on your bed, only that they took away the G for Georges after he had passed away.
