Shy follower here. Absolutly love the "ink" smooshing technique. Makes tons of fun natural patterns. Did it with watercolors not that long ago and threw in some metallic colors, too! Turned out great. If you use most water based mediums, you can pretty much do it with anything. Haven't tried it with acrylics yet but that might be a fun mess! Keep up the great videos and spreadimg crafty goodness. Can't wait to see what you do next!

this is so much fun. I drug out all my tiny flower pot and flowers and leaf stamps, and just followed along, with gelotos. Thanks so much for sharing the fun of playing with our stuff we have around. The backgrounds are awesome!

I think this is one of my favorite videos--and I've watched them all, I think. I love to just sit and play with what I have, mixing mediums, companies, images, etc. Your tips along the way have added a great deal to my limited artistic knowledge--ha! The smaller images from RST are so versatile and just so darned cute. I, too, love eyelets and have a stash that never seems to diminish.

Nice, I've been drooling over that Watercolor Garden set. I may have to succumb. Love the background!!! I love DIY backgrounds. To quote you, " It's not a smudge, it's an opportunity for embellishment." I think it would be interesting to see, side by side, items stamped with the different watercolor media you mention - crayons, pencils, paint, markers, ink, etc. Same stamp, same color. Then one might know where one might wish to spend ones cash. If one has cash left after buying peg stamps. Lol. I'm going to label my sets, I like to mix it up, but I also like to know their roots. I find that mine play well with stamps from other co too.

These cards are gorgeous Lindsay & I really love the watercolor look with the peg stamps. I liked the backgrounds before you embossed & inked them but they are WOW now. Thanks so much. I really enjoy buying from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. They are nice & I like supporting small businesses. I wish I had seen this a few days ago as I want to support you too. I just made an order when they had a free shipping coupon but they probably wouldn't let me combine coupons. I wish I had more disposable income so I could support all the artists I love on YT. Well at least I always watch the ads before your videos Lindsay. It's the least I can do. Thank you.

I, too, have that tag curler sitting in the same drawer as the day I bought it and have never used the tags. I remember buying it with a 50% off coupon when there wasn't a lot of new stuff on the market at the time. I also scooped up a bunch of the tags when they later went on clearance. I just took them out and they really are kind of cute and I could alter them by gluing something on the front or applying embossing powder or any number of ways to add interest. I found this in the same drawer with the hang tag applier and tags in different lengths and colors, also, never used! Thanks for the reminder to "use what you have" or "shop your stash!" +paulage1art oh the hang tags! I have used them to reattach tags my kids took of clothes before trying them on so I could return things that did not fit. Remember the fancy price gun from around the block? That went in the first clean out. Man, we were desperate back then lol!

J. C. I have bought from RST a couple of times because of Lindsay. One thing I noticed is that the individual stamps cost the same whether you buy them in the sets or not. AT least they did before the $ increase. I haven't checked since. So I buy all my stamps individually & mix & match as I like. I only buy the sets if I like everything in the set. Just an FYI.

Hi Lindsay. I have an idea for you. Because you use your peg stamp flowers so often for your projects, why not do this: Stamp out a number of the poppy type (or any larger) flower onto some type of adhesive paper such as Stick It. Then use your Scan and Cut to cut them out to use as masks for your stamping projects. You could make a whole page of these and just peel them as you need them. Give it a try and let me know what you think. ;-)

Let the boos and hisses start BUT the blue on the autumn card does not look good at all. This is so rare when you do something like this that I felt I had to comment. LOVED the base card and the flowers then ... not so much. Sorry, dear girl.
@1stLucySchmidt7 жыл бұрын
I was a little perplexed by that choice, too, but realized it make look different in real life...and it is Lindsay's card after all. I'd have probably tried to tone it down a bit with water on my finger, but you just never know until you try it.
@gloriabennett65857 жыл бұрын
Of course it is her card. I took a chance to voice how I felt instead of praising all she does, which I mostly do. I love her videos and think anyone that takes the time to help us is fine indeed. But that shouldn't be the only object of this comment section. But maybe it is...lol
@1stLucySchmidt7 жыл бұрын
Tee hee. I was doing the same as you--saying I didn't particularly care for it either, then adding what I may have done differently to make it "more me." And, no, the comment section shouldn't only be for praise. I certainly didn't praise her choice of the blue around the image; I just added another idea to the mix. No boos and hisses from me. I think most YT'ers like to hear their viewers' ideas on what else might work.
@gloriabennett65857 жыл бұрын
Hey, Lucy...After I sent my email to you, it occured to me that Lindsey herself did not like the blue when she first held it up...then she decided to mix gray and whatever on her craft sheet and without testing it, came up with the same blue...lol... I wish she'd have used either Hunter green or a dark brown. it is autumn not spring. But other than that, I really liked the card. I have bought a lot of Peg's stamps thanks, or maybe not, to Lindsey. Thanks for the no hisses or boos because it is so touchy out there in craftland that one REALLY has to be so careful or the "fans" or "fanatics" will lay into one big time. Love your all seeing eye...lol
