This is a really cool look....isn't it neat how one could just about take each type of material and use it in a beautiful way on a greeting card....mosaics....cork....fabric....paint...paper....even something like tiny crushed rock...cinnamon. ...whatever....I guess that's why papercrafting....especially card making is my favorite hobby... Each little card becomes a work of art in itself

Lindsay- that sliver of paper for the button thread is the coolest thing ever. I had never heard of that before. You do teach me something new every time I watch one of your videos. Even the ones that are not stamp school ones. TFS

I love that look. I had a square tiled metal stencil from Dreamweaver to do just this exact same technique that I saw many years ago and always loved it. Your take on doing it with a stencil that is no so symmetrical is awesome though. And I especially love your idea of cutting out those shapes to use as epoxy stickers. How cool is that. Thanks for another great one.

I really love how you did the hot glue all over the pot. What an interesting texture. The different colors really work well together. Great job. Those molded chips may not have been dry enough and that is why they broke. They looked like cement when it is not quite dry. I think the material you had around it slowed down the curing time needed. Just a thought.

I love this idea!!! I'd love to see more ideas with UTEE, I have some in other colors as well as the clear but I rarely pull it out to use it! Have you ever tried the trick of heating the UTEE and while it's still hot press a deep etched rubber stamp into it and hold it in place till UTEE cools.? It does great detailed texture, I'd love to see how you could incorporate this into a card! You always have such neat inventive ideas! Love your videos, keep up the great work!!!

Wonderful card what a great idea . I have some of the thick embossing powder I brought a melt pot few months ago (may be a year or two lol ) do you have any videos showing ways to use it ??? Big hugs from London xxx
@thefrugalcrafter7 жыл бұрын
I don't have one but you can melt some powder and pour it on cardstock and sprinkle in mica flakes, glitter and microbeads and stamp in the molten powder to leave an impression.

Hi lindsay I was wondering if you knew is there a product that i can put on acetate plastic sheets to make it look frosted. P.S. Great tile look
@LoveSarella7 жыл бұрын
Heidi M ive noticed dried glue, like Alene's Tacky Glue, makes it look frosted. or maybe a really thin layer of white acrylic paint. I use acetate as paint pallets, thinking id be able to peel up the paint and dispose it but its pretty much stuck on
@LoveSarella7 жыл бұрын
if you find the glue dries transparent, add some white craft acrylic paint to it
@heidim64687 жыл бұрын
Thanks Sarah I heard frosted embossing powder may work what do you think?
@LoveSarella7 жыл бұрын
Heidi M I've never tried embossing powder but if you have it, try it out. If you dont already have it, maybe think of other ways you could use it before purchasing if you're not sure yet. I would test out different methods on one sheet. Another idea is using vellum maybe? Like laying the acetate over the vellum and choosing which surface you want to work on. xx
@heidim64687 жыл бұрын
Thank you Sarah I will try the different ideas before i buy anything.

Really nice, I got inspired and made my own stencil (yay for scan n cut) so going to do this project tomorrow. Do you think Melt It powder would be the same as Ultra thick embossing powder? I'll just try a little and see what it does. I have plenty of regular clear though so no biggie I guess.
