No yeah, the people who this video FOUND is definitely blessed af. I really like this since this ain't just "bro science" that gym people talk about, it's actually a very good presentation. Ask him, and he'll answer back quickly. You can really tell that he put in the same work in the presentation, as he did in the gym. Amazing, thanks for the seminar.

Anyone so called fitness guru on KZbin would have endorsed protein powders mentioning the brands but Stan did not, in fact he focused on whole foods, it is a small example yet significant how professional and great guy he is. Loved this video, thanks for uploading it.

lol right ,,Stan ia ALL ABOUT making money period,,, hes used PEDS his entire adult life and wants you believe that a meat and dairy based diet is responsible for his physique, while all of his enhanced friends keep dropping dead of heart disease before the age of 50.

I use protein powders (I can’t cook as often as I would like to), but I totally agree with you. Protein powder is only useful as a last resort. It pains me to pay 30 euros a kilo for a byproduct of cheese making.

I watch this many times over. Stan has been so monumentally helpful for my bodybuilding and recomp, weight loss. He is always honest and his approach is very effective. Especially the part about cardio. So many people waste large amounts of time with cardio when all they need is walking and weightlifting

Just an FYI: my insurance wouldn't cover my CPAP for whatever reason and it would've cost me over $1,000 to buy one; however I was able to get one through the American Sleep Apnea Association for $100. You do however need a prescription to get one from them. Just thought I'd share. The CPAP machine is a life changer if you have sleep apnea.

this man knows what he is talking about. excellent info packed lecture. finally someone who teaches about the relevance of salt, real salt. I learned that form a ND in New Zealand. all my friends think I am crazy. I am in my sixties, lost over fifty pounds in a year and only do about 10 minutes of rebounding (HIIT + simple bounce) and some targeted lifts to tone my upper arms. got rid of all my little aches and pains, developed nicely sculptured legs and arms and lost my big fat belly. very happy. this athletic expert gives me the confidence I did it the right way. thank you

@icreporting3980
@icreporting3980 5 жыл бұрын
Thyroid level = Iodine level. Nature iodine comes from seaweed and cranberries. Sodium comes from table salt. Insulin is released by your pancreas when your blood glucose levels spike from high carbohydrate intake from high carb foods. The more carbs you take the higher you insulin resistance and the more fat you gain from excess glucose in the blood. Insulin resistance is just another term for excessive energy intake. All of the energy you intake from food must be either used or stored as fat for later use. This is why keto diets work so well at cutting fat because if you restrict your carb intake you force your body to burn fat to power your bodies cells.

Grass fed vs grain fed is a massive difference in terms of what else is in the fat along with the vitamins. Various metabolites of pesticides and herbicides that will reek havoc on your intestinal microbiome. Differences in sulphites as well.

Most grassfed beef is actually grainfed for the last few months to fatten the cow up. Which diminishes all the grassfed benefits (mostly omega 3 omega 6 ratio). You need to check the regulations in your area to know if they are ever fattened up with grain at the end.

This is true. You need pasture raised and finished beef. Or you can buy from a local farmer and ask him.

Hello I am an internal medicine physician. I really enjoyed your seminar. I have always been a proponent of moderation and a well rounded diet. Your review of the research is awesome, and I enjoyed your message in support of red meat. I was not really aware about the negative effects of vegetable oils. Thanks for including information about that. I look forward to reading more about it. Also a huge reminder to sleep well and stop looking at my phone through the night. Awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and performance tips.

Just a tip. You can by a food processor for a lot cheaper than a meat grinder. Its just as effective. Also a good way to get those organ meats in, is to grind it down in small amounts into your beef grind.

Main reason for eating grass-fed beef is the Vitamin K content which is higher in grass-fed. Vitamin K and D work closely together to make sure calcium goes into the bones and not into the artery walls and other tissues.

Im sure i could ask a 1000 questions in this presentation calling his bluff and lack of knowlede... Optimise this and that.. please.. All he's research is backed up my either him saying; hey, a phd said it, or simply; hey, it's proven by research... Stan has been debunked about his references numerous times as a result of referring to bullshit research. He is strong, he has a great physique.... but please. whatever. you don't need to do all of this nonsense. Go to bed between 10pm and 11pm? rubbish. This is the typical video that overwhelms people. Just make sure you get your 8 hours every night. Want to improve your quality of sleep? Get a good mattress, reduce noise, and/or take sleep supplements.

Thomas Thor 1) Manage your light exposure. Read about how sunlight affects your circadian rhythm. You need as much sunlight as you can get during the day. Not directly on the skin of course. Just bright rooms and windows etc. be outside. 2) Then get your vitamin D levels up. Get a blood test now and then a month later 25oh test. You can order it online. Natural sunlight on the skin is ideal for increasing your levels. I use a phone app called D Minder. Second option is vitamin d3 supplementation. Make sure to also take K2 with it. Supplement and then measure after a month. You will see your sleep drastically improve. Trust me. The biggest impact for me was Light. Sunlight during day. No screens at night. Good luck!

@Luke Garcia I recommend you read a book called Sleep Smarter by Shawn Stevenson. And, yes, I think I can relate to the fear of letting go. Being able to sleep is a skill you need to develop. I use meditation. I also make sure I disconnect from all electronic stimulus at least an hour or two before bed -- no screens, no music, no audiobooks, no podcasts. I train myself to be okay falling asleep just me and my thoughts. Meditation helps with this. I recommend an app called Headspace. It just makes meditation easy to do.

Thank you so much for this info, I had KZbin running on my TV and it shuffled to this video. I listened to this as I scrambled to pick myself up for the gym. At 260lbs, I listened and found my CPAP on letgo for $220 and like new. I also subconsciously started craving my pickles after listening to you talk about sodium. As a Chemical Engineer, I really appreciate you talking to people with a level head. Too many people act as if they have the degrees and time in the lab. Telling people what the research says and telling them where you got that info is invaluable in this industry. I knew I could trust you when you spoke about cholesterol. Thanks man. And btw the way you spelled vegetables got you my sub lol. It was nolstagic and instantly reminded me of my childhood watching Dexter's Lab 😂(kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaKneJuCabiVp6c).

There's a lot of baggage that comes with trying to eat only red meats that he's not mentioning, also you need vitamin C and fiber supplementation if you want to eat only red meat. It's possible, but expect problems years down the road with cardiovascular and digestive health.

New evidence suggests that the Insulin sensitivity that he refers to at 4:00 for people that lose sleep is actually caused by having a longer eating window throughout the day, not the sleep itself. People who do intermittent fasting don't suffer from low insulin sensitivity when they lose sleep because they are still eating in the same 8-12 hour window. When most people lose sleep, they tend to eat late at night & early in the morning, reducing the fasting window. Fasting for more than 8 hours is what starts to increase your insulin sensitivity, and you really want 12-16 ideally.
