As someone in healthcare I always shake my head at people that tell others to lower their sodium intake. If you knew what sodium does in the body and how it correlates with other minerals you wont tell people to drop sodium.
@sonortubelug38536 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Stan.

the problem is that most people don't consume nearly enough potassium, which can be an issue if you are still eating lots of sodium

How good that there are rules to what you can say and not say to your healthcare patients, I also work in healthcare and for most people that’s true. Not because they can’t get to a point to where they eat more salt and are healthier, most people should be worried about salt because just like you they don’t have the knowledge to know when or when to not eat salt

Their discussion about prioritising meals is amazing. I’ve worked in bars and restaurants for 8 and always had the attitude of I can’t eat healthy meals in this line of work because we’re always tired being very active workers. Fast forward 30lbs and a very unhealthy few years I end up passing out from exhaustion because I’ve not eaten a proper meal for weeks and just eaten crap and drank too much beer. Now I’m making this an absolute priority making sure that I’ve eaten a good healthy meal before work and made extra to take while I’m there. Honestly one of the best things I’ve implemented in my life and started training properly again, it’s just about prioritising what’s important to you. I know so many people who have been in this industry for 20-30 years and have a whole host of health problems, I will not let that be me.

I have always trained hard the last 32 years and supplemented and been in great health but Stan's input and talks has taught me a few more things that has validated everything i have ever done and believed already but also a few more great things to tweek and change that has helped me as well.
