When I met Stan a few years ago at Pacific Fair in the Gold Coast, I said “Hi John Legend!” He then stared at me for a few seconds wondering what I was going on about lol 😆 Then finally he clicked, I was talking about this audition for idol, because it was years ago & he’s done lots since then. He then laughed it off, he was still down to earth but he had lost a lot of weight & had short blonde hair. He still looked ok though, we were both with our partners when I met him. We chatted for ages so he’s very friendly & didn’t mind chatting to random fans just walking past & saying hi 👋🏼 you rock Stan 👍😊

I feel like whenever I watch one of these clips from an Australian talent or vocal completion, the judges/audience are very critical and slow to give praise, even when the contestant is clearly gifted. It's like there is a latent resentment toward talented people there, even while they are being admired. And I've even heard stars from Australia say they left for the same reason.
