But this Stan Walker reaction was really special because whilst the song itself is an absolute JAM; the message behind this project is just incredible and so important.
I have had recent experience of mental health issues within my own family. and with June being Men's Mental Health Awareness Month - I feel like this is a perfect song, video and artist to react to... WOW!! Well done all involved in this moving project! 💚✨

Don’t worry, we all have that genuine love for the guy, and most of us have probably never met or even seen the guy before! He just has a way of connecting with us and finding his way into our hearts. This song was written about him and his best friends mental health, $uicid@l thoughts, and their coping mechanisms through drinking, drugs, etc. Stan wanted to be open with people and express to everyone what he struggled with, and show that it’s okay to not be okay! The “being so full but feeling so empty” part made me think of how I have a roof over my head, electricity, clothes on my back, food in my cupboard and so on, but I feel so empty because I’m emotionally detached from those things. Like I’m thankful for everything I have, but feel so closed off from it all.

Thank you for sharing this with is, always good to get background on a song 🎵 and also, your own personal experience... having an appreciation for those things is so crucial isn't it, because what we have as basic amenities are likely luxuries elsewhere. Perhaps within your local community there are some opportunities to help those that may be struggling in some way? That might help you with those connections maybe? Forgiveness starts by forgiving yourself. No matter how many times I listen to this song the tears roll as its relatable to me. Silent screams we all have them, and Stan expresses by crying out to God.
