Stana Katic Talks About "Absentia" & Its Second Season

FBI Agent Emily Byrne (Stana Katic) vanishes after tracking a Boston serial killer and is declared dead. Six years later, she is found in a cabin in the woods, with no memory of what happened during the time she went missing. She comes back to a husband who has remarried, and whose wife is raising her son. She navigates her new reality and finds herself implicated in a new series of murders. Interesting explanation as to how she saw being #1 on the call sheet as being a responsibility. I remember seeing an interview with NF re Castle and he seemed to believe that being #1 on the call sheet meant it was all about him.

@@sarahjames927 They were minor problems that the internet is still blowing out of hand. All sets have these types of issues. The fact that people/fans/media/etc. only started talking of these "problems" after Castle was cancelled will always speak volumes of the true nature of what happened. Which was that it was a small thing that got blown wildly out of control with all the cancelation issues that happened fueling its flame.

Excellent TV series, cast, script writers, and other creatives! In the last question, I would have added that there is also Amanda Tapping, who went from actress to director. And has made great short films. I just wish she had been added to This Changes Everything directed by Tom Donahue and is streaming on Netflix. The documentary goes deep into the filming industry and gender disparity in Hollywood. Although, I'm happy the Absentia team chose Bulgaria to film. The atmosphere and colors chosen for each scene, and for each character's personality. Chef's kiss! 🎥 😘
