I own a horse. The complete disrespect these people have makes me speechless. I would never touch another rider's reins unless they asked me to. Man, these guards have their hands full!

I’ve been around horses my whole life. I would never touch the reins of another rider. Besides, no matter how relaxed a horse looks, it’s unpredictable.

Sounds good to me. But then an inquiry into what happened. Horse hurt or even put to sleep. And a very unhappy guard. But this whole tourist thing has to stop and give our soldiers &, horses the full respect they so rightly deserve.❤.

It really is irrelevant if one does not know the definition of reins. Do not touch unless invited to do so. Kindergarten students are taught this less in the U.S.
