When Mick Abraham's, the original lead guitarist for Jethro Tull left them, he started a band called Blodwyn Pig, and his bassist played a Bass VI, and I saw them play 3 times at the old Fillmore East in 1970. It is a great guitar for any guitar player that wants to play bass.

The Tele Oxblood is amazing. Went to 5 guitar stores to initially getting a Fender American Pro II and left with that Squier. Only thing was the weight, mine is quite heavy. Everything else was equivalent to a Fender, believe it or not. Also changed the stock pickups for some Nocasters51... Only to switch back to the stock ones!

That depends where you get it. If you get it from Guitar Center, it very well might not be playable. Not even joking. I genuinely would not be surprised if I discovered Walmart owns Guitar Center. However, Sweetwater, Chicago Music Exchange, Andertons, they are meticulous with their inspections and setups. If you buy from them, you can be assured you can play a show with it that very night.

❤. Great video guys as always. The Jaguar is wired the same as the Jazzmaster. I installed a wire from the bridge pup to the empty side of the rhythm double pole switch, both pups will work. Never knew why Fender didn't do it, a very good mod. The Telecaster looks like left over from the 40th Anniversary except the fretboard of which I have one. All 3 are pretty good guitars. I pick Squier over the Mexican or Japanese models any day. Upgrades and a little Luthier work are all that Squiers need. P.S. I wish you had a company over here in the USA.

I absolutely love Teles and fully subscribe to the adage that "If you can't do it with a Tele then you can't do it" BUT - surely I can't be the only one throughout history thinks the control plate is the wrong way round. It seems to make much more sense (and play-ability) to have it set up from rear to front as 3 way switch (bridge/combined/neck) then volume and finally tone. Just seems to be more natural layout .Every Tele I've had/got is set up that way and would never change back.

Japan still does them legit, but they're only for Japan. They're even priced (for the local market, anyway) at about what you'd pay for an MiM here. If you didn't have to pay the added fees of importing I'd say that was everybody's best bet for a good Jaguar. I just recently got a Lake Placid Blue Jaguar with matching headstock from Japan, and it's really nice. I don't regret going with it over a Vintera-II or something.

Lefty player here. Not salty because there are plenty of lefty guitars in the world to play. That said, Sweetwater currently has 240 Squier models on their site, and only nine are available in lefty, so Squier as a brand is off my radar. They even took away the lefty P Bass! At the similar price point, Schecter, ESP, and Epiphone all offer many lefty options.
@MarkRothschild-f7f

Smaller markets are unprofitable for left handed models. Why the need to announce your brand preferences? If Squier as a brand is of no interest to you, you're wasting your time and everyone else's by posting off-topic comments under a video about Squier guitars. Why should I care what you play? Get over yourself. If all the people whining about a lack of left-handed guitars (sic!) actually bought them when they were made, there'd be a lot more choice.
