You would only see them being used by officers and drivers, the standard m1928 haversack was seen with most regular infantry

Question: would HBT pants make for a good over layer to keep dry and warm? Asking because I have an event in winter, and I don't have M43 pants.

The HBT pants weren't really seen in Europe during wwii. There were certain units that got issued it but the majority didn't have them

The 1910 was still very much around. You probably would have had it if you were in for a while but if you were a new replacement or the t handle broke you would probably get the m43

Hello reenactment days! I have a question, would a lot of soldiers wear the over coat? I’m doing an airborne impression so just wondering what your thoughts are on it. Beautiful m1 garand by the way

Overcoats were seen in airborne units as well during the battle of the bulge. Overcoats were seen often because everyone had one for dress use so they just sent out whatever they had
