as long as you're in jeskai for this deck, i'd put a couple nahiri's resolve in. if not in the main, at least in the side. flickering your artifacts with synth in play gives you an insane late game that can recover from wraths like they didn't even happen. i've played a deck like that a fair amount, and nahiri's does silly stuff in that deck. it's also still rotation-proof to include that card.

Genuine question. How does it help to practice with rotation proof decks if we don't know the knew set. I saw someone doing a rotation proof control deck with draw cards no one plays with... BUT... we dont know the new set. I just don't see the point of playing with cards you otherwise normally wouldn't until you know that the new set doesnt provide any upgrade or lateral card to that which is shifting out. Also - if the content is to show someone with limited wild cards a deck they can play without wasting wilds on cards about to shuffle out, fair enough however it still risks burning wilds for a deck you can only play for a few weeks then the next set comes out with better cards and you still wasted the wilds. It just provides a deck that is meh for a few weeks... I think this is just content creator titles for clicks, not actual strong decks for the next rotation....

@@AaronJuddMusic Yes - this is the problem. One or two cards in a new set can make a "rotation-proof" deck unplayable. I'll play these decks for fun if I already have the cards, but I'm not going to craft them.

I like the rotation proof stuff. I personally am going to wait until a few weeks after Bloomburrow drops to invest any wildcards. I think BB is going to have some cards that shake the meta up big time

Hindsight is 20/20 but at 26:12, if you just attack with all, they have to double block the 5/5s, otherwise they take 11 and die. So, if we just attack with all, and they double block, we can legion face, pixie bouncing legion, then legion face again for lethal.

I was gonna mention that too, I scrolled through the comments to see if anyone else had said it first lol I had it typed up and everything too, “ 26:15 Is there an argument for just not playing out the Coat here and going straight to combat? We’re still threatening lethal if they don’t chump both of the Constructs, and not casting Coat lets us kill the opponent with Extruder + Pixie.”

Do you think Nahiri's Resolve with For Mirrodin! will have any gas in Standard after rotation? It was one of the few archetypes that could go against Mono Black in Alchemy after rotation there last year.

Like the new rotation proof series way more than ol good "70% WR / 30-4"+ missleading content, personally avoid those kind of videos (from anyone), as there are too many factors involved. Most of the time either people get upset or feel clickbaited. Always funny when average joe claims he crafted X from Y list and is not useful post rotation tho, truly a classic. Anyway, keep it up!
