ATL was busy yesterday too!! And the parked planes were gone here. Prayers it continues! We also have had British Airways, KLM, Air France, and Korean here! Flying was so easy and felt super safe!

Drew McCullough Madrid is mainly for people that are doing layover and European citizens returning home if they got stuck before the lockdown. Spain isn’t allowing tourism until the end of the month. Anyone entering spain must be on 14 lockdown upon arrival. I think France is the same. Madrid entered phase 2 yesterday along with a few other region. Most of the country is in phase 3. We are still not allowed to travel between regions and you can only travel within your own region if the Provence’s are in the same phase. We are in the homestretch. Travel from spain into other European countries doesn’t start until July 1

Yeah, there's flights to Amsterdam from my local airport but they do a 14 day quarantine as well. I'd love to get stateside this year but the amount of cases they're having makes me think that travel ban will be the last to go.

Nogales, Az is like that. Very small, one Walmart, one Safeway, 2 Mc Donald’s, no Office Depot or anything like that, but since it is a border town with Nogales, Mexico which is a lot bigger, you can cross between the two cities to get things you need. For example, in the Mexican side there’s Applebee’s, Office Depot, more movie theaters and more doctors (which are a lot cheaper) etc.

Great vlog as always! Stand by is what we in Norway would call airport Stand by. Sitting at home waiting for Crew disp to call is what we call stand by. Then you have 100 min to get to work. Look up Ontonagon MI. I was an exchange student there for one school year in 1986/87. Main St. IS a 1/4 mile. We had to drive 60 miles to go to a movie, mall, mcDs or an airport. Just sayin` be safe and stay safe!

DFW is another airport I've been through many times. Used to take a puddle-jumper from there into Texarkana! Now THAT is an experience! Texarkana is TINY!

It would be cool if you were able to do a meet up at the airport when you are on standby. Then if you got called, just say later! It sure would make the time go by quicker when not on the plane. People might just love that, could be fun for you to pick a small group who are locals. Have fun Kacey.

The first time I visited southern Kentucky was last year, on a short trip to Cave City and Mammoth Cave National Park. It was a great trip (!) and I looked forward to going this year and taking time to visit Bowling Green (especially the Corvette museum.) Covid may have killed my plans, but I really enjoyed Kentucky :)

I have actually never heard of Dollar General. I live in the Bay Area California. And, we have no Walmart close to us--it would take us a half hour to get there, and I think that defeats the purpose! We live about 20 minutes from San Francisco, but Walmart and Dollar General are not a thing here. We do have a Dollar Tree, but no one ever goes there!

New subscriber here! I fly somewhat frequently. (I board about 10-12 planes a year) and my ears will sometimes hurt landing and sometimes they won’t. Chewing gum/yawning/blowing nose doesn’t help. What do you do to help your ears??

Explain this please: what is the difference in sitting at the airport on standby and being on a 2 hour (or what ever they give you) call to go to the airport. Are you standing by to cover for a crew that might be on a late incoming flight to cover thier flight back out? What is the purpose of this?
