I am in complete awe of our God, as per usual🙏🏼 today hasn’t been the best day, I got into bad traffic and found myself overwhelmed with frustration. I didn’t handle my emotions as well as I should have, and came to realize it was a lesson I prayed for. Our prayers don’t typically get answered in the ways we hope. Often it’s a lesson God puts on our path, to answer our prayer. “God please make me into the person I want to be, help me become more like you each day. Help me grow and heal even further” and God will answer that prayer…you want to be patient? God will put you in really bad traffic and see how you handle it. You want to be kind? God will challenge you and see how kind you are in hard moments where it’s easy to be unkind. Today was a big lesson for me and I told God I’m gonna watch a sermon bc I definitely need it today! I decided to click on the very first one that popped up and trusted it was the video God meant for me to see right now. This is the video, one from 3 years ago. I had to pause the video to type this comment because earlier today the very first baby I held at work immediately spat up on me. And that exact example was given- I am SHOOK! God is GOOD always. He loves us, in spite of all our flaws. And he is speaking to you, you just have to listen🤍

I want to obey God and live up a life that is for Him...but, I also want to enjoy my youth. My closest cousin said to me that I was rare. I already knew to always choose what is right and serious about my steps in life but she said to enjoy my youth. I wouldn’t want to end up only enjoying my youth when I’m on my adult stage. What should a 15 year old do for Christ? Is videogaming allowed? Is a resting time allowed? Or should I be full timing God?

Depends how you define "enjoying your youth." You can play video games if you like, I do myself, I rest while serving Christ nothing wrong with that? Now if "enjoying your youth" means partying and getting drunk, doing drugs, then you're on a path that can potentially be of no return. That road, is a road where much evil lies waiting for you, it will destroy your mind and reap your soul. Happened to myself, but God had mercy on me and took me back. Now I'm free and happy. But don't be worrying about having time to enjoy life and relax, theres nothing wrong with that in increments. Balance is key! Tim Janzen - LC Team

I don't disagree with what he's saying and definitely don't disagree with Gods word. But at the same time, life can be hard, and pretty much anytime u do something good ur gonna be attacked, anytime we do something good, we gotta do it better or different cuz were not doing it right or good enough. Anytime u take criticism or crap from people, your supposed to just take it and keep moving but my question is When are we actually doing something good then or when is it enough? And no offense but some of us want that "comforted life" cuz sometimes we just get tired of fighting all the time. When's the storm gonna stop? I always try to do Gods will, and trust in Him during the storm, and I know it'll come with hard days. But why does every single day have to be hard? Why can't christians ever have a day of peace? Again I'm not against God, but I'm just so tired and exhausted and stressed out from fighting.

I completely understand where you're coming from. At times it just feels like the "difficult season" you found your self feels like it's never ending with hardship after hardship that comes up. You're not alone in feeling that way. I promise God hasn't forgotten you, he deeply cares and is with you in every moment. My prayer for you is that there are moments you find peace and joy throughout your day. When those moments come, you can celebrate and when adversity hits again, you lean of God and His strength to make it through.
