Thank you doctor. I have a question plz. My baby is almost 3 months old . I sometimes make him squat in order to release gas and poop . Is this harmful or just okay ?????

@@animalsandbabieschannel hi! Thanks for the comments. If the baby is on their back and you are bringing their legs up toward their chest in a “squat” like position that is okay. If you are placing a baby with their feet on the ground more like in the position in the video, it is less ideal because babies hips are more fragile until 6-7 months and the ground produces a force through their legs, so I would recommend not putting them in that position until 7 months. Working on sidelying play positions, rolling back to side and back to side, and infant massage are all options for helping babies resolve constipation. Also recommend reaching out to the pediatrician if there are belly concerns to rule out any protein/milk/formula sensitivities.

Can you please tell me where did you buy that (6.17) stand to squat from small table - orange leg white and blue table ?
@DrLaurenBaker3 ай бұрын
Hi Bhagi, thanks so much for the comment. Unfortunately I did not purchase that table (the family did) and I was not able to find it. There are two options linked in the description that are similar (I have also copied/pasted them here for easy access, affiliate links listed). Small Activity Table (similar height) - amzn.to/3WkwOFv Bigger Activity Table (slightly higher) - amzn.to/3UmsPGD The biggest consideration when looking for a table is chest height for a child (around the level of their nipple line or slightly below). I hope this helps! Lauren
