We just flew spirit for the first time with my daughter in more than 10 years. She was livid and couldn’t believe I booked spirit. She is like, “mama is someone dying in Texas? Is there a family emergency? No? Then why are we flying spirit? I can’t believe the audacity” lol she was complaining the entire way to Texas and back to Michigan. I started complaining about the flight she is like, “well you should’ve booked through delta. Heck you could’ve picked JetBlue or United but no you picked spirit. That’s what we gonna end up as, spirits.” Smh

I flew Spirit to Houston, Texas two years ago! Ended up buying a train ticket back to LA, had us packed like sardines in that little plane. Train ride took longer, but the comfort was like night and day! If you're over 6ft tall don't fly Spirit, lesson learned.

I had the nerve to book a last min flight with them and something told me not to! They took my $300 for the one way flight to Florida from New York saying that I was a no show... when I made it all the way to the gate and watched the ramp agents load the last bit of bags on to the plane and made eye contact with the pilot. After rushing due to a car accident that backed traffic up for over an hour 😩... I actually made it to the gate but just shy of maybe like 2 mins of when the doors closed. I contacted spirit after they offered me no rebooking options in the airport... after waiting for about an hour on hold the agent said I was a no show and never made it to the airport so I forfeit my flight and that I lost out on my money. 😩... So me going through security and getting to my gate abd making eye contact with the pilot must of been an out of body experience. Let’s not forget I must of paid about $70 to check one bag around 45lbs. I couldn’t even be mad because I shouldn’t have even played myself and booked that terrible and poor quality ass airline! I don’t care if it’s the last flight on earth .... I’d walk to Japan barefoot before booking with SPIRIT!

I prepaid my bag before my flight, not knowing there was a 40lbs weight limit, it wasn’t listed on their website. I had a 50lb bag. I ended up paying an additional $100 to my destination and an additional $100 back and the checked bag fee was already $40. In total, I paid about $280 round trip just in bag fees! 😂😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ #NeverAgain!
