The R is definitely an awesome car. Cool shifter, but I don’t really like the push down nature of the lockout. Pulling up would be a much more natural action.

I love my GT350 and I got lucky as it does not burn oil. It was broke in correctly. So many people did not break them in correct and that is why most do burn oil.

My bro their is plenty of info about this and what to do based on what you can afford but 18-20 is the sweet spot if you can find one with lower milesyou will pay for that but I think the car is awesome and I bought my HE with 1k miles on the dot and have added 10k miles myself and the car has been fantastic in every way and couldn’t even think of getting rid of it.

​@@themidnighttavern6784don't buy a GT350 these guys are not well informed. The oil consumption is not the biggest problem. They blow motors stock even the new ones trust me my buddy bought a 2019 GT350, 6 months later engine failure 100% stock and Ford only covered 30% of the new motor.

Hoodie is cool. Not a fan of shifter knob. StangMode the Dark Horse looks soooo much better than the GT350R. Besides being more dependable, the GT350 is yesterday's newspaper. You plant yourself in today's and tomorrow with the Dark Horse. Keep it. Don't need the extra oil in the back😅😅😅

To me. A heavier shift knob helps with the throw. Lightweight shift knobs feel like I would imagine a stick in a jar of peanut butter would feel . I don't know if I'd like pushing the gear locker down instead of pulling up. The new knobs look cool though.

Billet workz should add a little material to the 23 wrx knob. Too small. I thought it would be bigger. Beautiful cosmic blue but a little smaller than I expected. $130

Crazy how there is so much support for GT350s. They blow motors stock, and Ford wouldn't replace them. My buddy lost 2 motors in GT350 stock form, first one blew they said oh the new ones don't do that. He bought one it also blew 100% stock and Ford would not cover full replacement cost after only 6 months of ownership.

Your spreading false information. Ford paid 30% of the engine replacement and didn't fix the problem in 2020 just put a bigger band aid on. Call service manager at any dealer ship. Less failed after 2020 but a lot still failed and caught fire.

@@NorthEastCor excellent question. The gt350r would go completely unnoticed ,but that may have been in part that I had a very unassuming color (grey). The AMG draws tons of attention, almost too much. That car is yellow.

I had test drove a red with white stripes gt350 non R and did a mix of driving in a populated area where no one seemed to notice the car but when I went to a nice rural section of driving roads, there was an "enthusiast" who knew exactly what it was and followed me around for a stretch of road to hear it and enjoy it. But attention isn't everything that car did drive as emotionally as everyone says it does which has me reminiscing till the end of time!

I’ve been looking into one and found out the gen1 voodoo is prone to this but there have plenty of people who report there’s is good I think it was all luck if you got a good one but the 19/20 gen 2 supposedly fixed that. Me personally thinking 19/20 or maybe 13/14 gt500

Went with a 2019 out of those concerns as well. Just pay attention and keep the oil level right and change it as often as the bald tires. Lolz

That experience you speak of is coming from the GT-350R’s stick. Had you equipped your Dark Horse with one, like I did, you wouldn’t have felt as strongly about the GT-350R. When it comes to looks and potential, Dark Horse hands down.

WOW, DOES THAT EVER BRING BACK MEMORIES WHEN I WAS DRIVING THE PROTOTYPE GT350R IN EARLY 2014. PUT OVER 18,000 MILES ON IT. GOD IT WAS LOUD, AND THE EXHAUST VALVES DIDN'T WORK. HLL, NOT MUCH WORKED CORRECTLY ON THE CAR, IT BEING A VERY EARLY STAGE PROTOTYPE. IT SURE HANDLED THOUGH, OMG !. DANG, THING REVVED TO THE STARS !. GREAT TIMES IT WAS.
