I have that same Stanley French Press and I have used it every day for over a year. Probably have close to 500 pots of coffee thru it. Extremely durable and makes great coffee. I have several Stanley products and this is easily my favorite.

I use the boil and brew all the time. broke my carafe with my regular brewer. Never have to worry about that with this one. excellent pot

You didn't mention that you can attach both handles to the spoon to have more reach to keep your hand away from the flame.

Change the lid tab to a split ring

Boil the water, let it set for a minute. Pour into cup that has coarse ground in it. Make sure all grounds are wet, stir it. Cover. Let steep for 4 minutes. Press the press slowly down, to capture the beans under the liquid. Pour, enjoy.

No No. You put the grounds in the cold water bring to a light boil and boil for 7 minutes. That will get rid of any acid and bitterness.

I have never had much luck cooking on anything but coals. Because there is plastic involved,. I would not suggest cooking directly on flames. You can set your pot next to a fire on coals for best results.

Yes it is. And then some. The Prep and cook set is inside a larger pot. It's great!

Sorry buddy, I gave you some incorrect info. This is the Prep and cook set. Just renamed for this line of cookware. There is a two pot, two bowl version only available at Walmart.

Stanley is the way to go!...But I got my eye on an Ozark Trail piece that will hopefully end my Ice Needs while at work as well as camping...lol. Walmart has saved the day with my little pay for sure. That's for Jac Kass...he or she must be loaded with cash...lol.
