Stanley Hope - 2000 Sydney Olympics Torch Relay

My late father, Stanley Hope, carrying the Olympic Torch in the Sydney Olympics 2000 Torch Relay.
Dad was diagnosed with asbestosis in 1979 but, as terrible as that disease was for him and his health he never let it hold him back. He was chosen as a community representative to carry the Olympic Torch not because of his illness but because of how much he had done for his community in spite of it.
