Lineage 2M - What class to start with? Choosing the right class

The first and foremost important question is what class should be your main character in Lineage 2M? Here is my humble opinion on that.
Lineage 2M allows you to have three free characters to begin with. More slots are available but after a purchase. You can delete one of your free character slots but after you reach level 65 with one of them, which is not a great option.
So, making the right choice is crucial for new players.

if only i could have found this video early...after leveling a 2handed sword Orc to lvl 45..i gave up and started a healer...all melee and ranger class will start struggling in quests after dion area is finished...the game is not balanced for pve and i don't know about pvp...i think every class should have an equal chance of winning in pve...not only healers...also i noticed by searching the internet that the class you get at lvl 65 is not in the list of Epic class cards...

It is not. Your basic class gets a new looks and some awakened skills. It can not be bought. I did the same thing, started as tank and gave up after some time. Then went archer and in the end healer. Now I don't play with that healer, it is boring class for me. But it did its purpose, he farmed and earned items that my melee class used afterwards.

Healers are incredibly useful late game in any mmo. If you're not a great pvp'er with good internet, it's better to be a healer/tank.

Great job man, very helpfull for Europe servers which started yesterday. Question - is that DE Healer a late game good choice? I will invest some in him if he is good, coz I dont be best at pvp in f2p game model.

You can play end game with this character. It is a bit dull IMO but it is still very good. Judgement and Arcane Shield, red skills will help you in PvE and PvP

@@cyryl_stalkingersch Yes, my main dagger and I made a secind one on same account an Orb and got it to level 5 for green class card, then I switched to my main to level that one up. At level 65 I'll have a red dagger main :)

@@jeffreasor8678 You would have to have an archer as a main and get it to level 65. Other than that luck can only determine if you can pull a red archer card from the draw of card fuse.

It is very fast. Leveling past level 55 starts to go much slower. I have just reached level 64 and it took me one year or so.

Great sword class is still not introduced in game. it will come a bit latter so just level up and gear up.

Early game there are items that sell very well on the market that are used for Codex, fox All Damage and Accuracy, some of which you can craft yourself. Make sure that they are unbound and you enhance them to +5.

It is. I have Venom, a red skill, and I can kill targets with damage over time even if they run away from me.

It is a class grade. The higher the grade, the better the stats of a class and starting form unique each has its specific awakened skills which are bonus effects on certain skills once you poses them.

Healer is best for farming solo, with minimal cost. At certain level you will get a stats reset scroll that you can use to redistribute all your attribute stats. With class cards you can switch to different class and progress from there.

@resket 95 This is the case with green gear and some blue ones. By the time you get better class card you can start to invest in to more expensive gear. For starters you are good with overenhancing green gear. Get most armor and from the accessories your main stats. That way you wont feel like you invested poorly and spent what you don't want to.

You will receive a skill reset scroll as you level up for free. I believe it is pass level 45. You can always buy that scroll from a level 10 clan (from clan merchant) or buy it for 400 diamonds from the cash shop. I would still recommend you to wait a bit more and get it for free.
