We were shocked how quickly everyone scarpered - especially since we only booked it en route! Just how I like sites though - empty! Touring area, pool, cafe, bar, beach all to ourselves 🙌 No selfie with Foxy fox though 🥲 If you can keep on clearing sites for us that would be appreciated muchly! 🤣🤣 Rachel, David & Roxy

Hi David & Rachel, drove past there today, how funny. We stayed at the neighbouring site in late August 2020 as we prefer smaller sites even when our daughter was younger, we chose smaller sites. we stayed here when we were on the way to Scotland as I wanted Mrs K to have a look at Silloth as I fancied moving there but she wasn't keen, Great Fish and Chips in the town though. Touring area looks really nice. Amazing it was so empty. Pools and crazy golf. 👍. Wonder why it was so empty? Beach would be lovely for our two. Roxy loved it. The main pool and facilities were amazing. Wow the breakfast. Making me hungry. Can see you created an event in the group pages. Thinking about it. 👍

I think it was something we said 🤣🤣🤣 we had showered … honest! It’s not our normal place but Jess used to love it and it was great to re visit! Your 2 would love the beach! Unfortunately there isn’t - it’s one thing which is a shame - plenty of walks around and the beach etc in addition just no doggies in the complex.🙁

🤣🤣 we were a little paranoid about where everybody was! We were the only in the touring section, pool, cafe, bar & beach! 🤣🤣 fantastic though! - I love seeing dogs running on beaches - Roxy really enjoyed herself & I am sure Tyler would too! The visit brought back lovely memories - no selfie with foxy fox though 💕

Don't know when you were there but at about about towards the end of September a ship ran aground trying to get in to the docks they managed to get it free on the next high tide You're right never seen stanwix so empty we live just along road about 20 miles in Workington keep up the great vlogs love them not to long not to short All the best Malcolm and Sheila

We have never ever seen Stanwix that quiet! It was amazing! If you ever go to Silloth on a Friday or Sunday morning my dad is normally there selling tomatoes - I think he does Wigton market too! Hi Tim it’s Rachel. It was unbelievably quiet. Never ever seen it like it but it was so nice. The pool to ourselves, the bar to ourselves, the cafe to ourselves… I was starting to get a bit paranoid 🤣🤣 Roxy loved the beach (which we had to ourselves) all in all a great trip. 🙌

Was brilliant when it was quiet - we took a bit of a punt on going back as sometimes it’s not how you remember it but it was great and has been updated (better if you have kids when it’s busy though from past experience 😀) All the best, David & Rachel 👍

Theres a more direct route from the Carlisle side to get there. Turn off at Wigton, the road is a A road and more suitable for tourers. Going Aspatria way is a really long detour and doubling back on yourself. Probably doubling the milage you could have done.
