Not reprinting Sabo in the PRB-01 set is the only reason it still holds its price. Why they wouldn't reprint it is beyond me. It's a staple in every black deck. Seeing Kuzan and Borsalino reprints will drop the price to play black decks slightly, but they're still insanely pricey as compared to playing other colors.

The fact it wasn't reprinted was kind of a red flag it would get banned however obviously it didn't so it makes no sense it doesn't reprinted considering they reprinted every other expensive card

They're saving Sabo reprint for a future Black starter deck while giving players a reason to open set 04.

I picked up my Mr. 2s when they were at a low of 22, and Zoros when they hit then teens. Crazy value

I mean yeah those cards are pricy, but coming from other games, there's an aspect that people don't understand where having value on your cards will incite people to join and play the game. It's important for games to have value and we should be happy our game is alive and doing well on the market. If you can't produce like pokemon does and keep the sets coming with enough supply, then the next best thing is having a healthy, not overpriced, but healthy market.

I agree. But one piece should learn from the mistakes of those other games. Yugioh is way more expensive and I hate it

You have to remember the chopper and Cavendish etc are from eb set with half the print run and people not opening because the EV wasn't great. Any time they print an EB set, just good idea to buy all sr's when they bottom on release. So there is a reason they're more expensive. Because people don't want to open eb boxes and didn't buy so Bandai won't reprint when it was hard enough for lgs to sell and lgs don't want to re order.

Grabbed a bunch of EB01 cards for the low low. Once the Choppers peaked I sold them all but one for my own collection.

Chopper and Bon Clay's prices are so bad. I said I'd rather gamble than actually outright buy them. I pulled BOTH on my first try. I now am in 100s of dollars of debt trying to get another, send help plz. /s

Literally take 5 months to be able to buy boxes from local shops. Very difficult to get the cards in the first place 😢 let alone their not printing them fast enough

The markets funny, stuff like chopper has spiked in price for a mid meta deck whereas jinbe srs are cheap for a pretty much top meta deck. Granted eb01 has less product out there
