You are the perfect owner for that rig. You have the balls to drive it anywhere, the skills to repair it or at least understand what’s going on so you don’t get screwed. The video of the roadside breakdown was epic. From the way you handled the first mechanic, the Facebook call out, and ultimately to find that diesel wizard was mighty impressive for someone your age. You appreciate quality and love the history behind the Newell mark. I’ve always considered a older Prevost or Newell but have chickened out and stayed with more current rigs. It will be fascinating following your journey.. ups and downs.Keep the content coming. If you need to get that old TV out, try rotating it in position - a lot are wider across the screen, then they are deep. Newell would love the coverage you're giving their products, showing the quality, and how they can appeal to a younger buyer, wouldn't be too surprised with all the sporting youtubers, if the secondhand market gets a bit of a boost. That decision to buy one without sliders,.. as someone whose had to deal with maintenance for broadcast trucks, you chose correctly :)

I used to tell him 'test it before you use it' because once he did and it wouldn't flush (he left it like that eurgh), and the customer called our boss pretty upset, and made him go take care of it. After that, any time he had to, he'd go use the head, he'd test it first, and I'd surreptitiously flip the circuit breaker off while he pinched one off.😂 I'd hear him cursing in there, I did that several times before he caught on.

That way, they would still be angled and you wouldn't be need to worry about moving the rear PVC every time you wanted to close that door.

In the owners manual: "Dumping your holding tank" is talking about the fresh water not the waste water. You would have many reasons to dump your fresh water....like weather below 0 degrees or repairs that requires the tank to be empty and so on. Dumping waste water is dangerous and illegal even in the 90s.

@@Stapleton42does the fresh water tank go straight to the waste water side without having to run fresh water down the drain? My pull behind Coachman has a one way valve that goes straight to the waste side. I guess to rinse it out. But I set up one of my two tanks as a ''flushing tank''. I had 2 fresh and 1 waste also....I think thats strange. But I used the waste tank to collect only toilet waste. One of my fresh water tanks became the drain tank from showers and sinks. That is used for my supply tank to my toilet flushing water and the toilet flush drains to the OG waste tank. I had my ''drain tank'' set up so I could dump it without having the waste tank being used. Also I put in a regular size toilet and shower. The shower is a step down that gives me room above my head.
