I'm glad they didn't rush her appearance in the WW movies I think waiting for the right character was super important to re kindle the real wonder woman from our memories. Honestly, whenever Wonder Woman name pops up, it’s Lynda Carter comes to mind. I think just being the original Wonder Woman, and going through so many roles throughout the original three seasons of Wonder Woman really programmed me to associate Wonder Woman as Lynda Carter and Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.

Lynda will forever be the one and only Wonder Woman and a class act. After hearing from others that the first two movies were trash I didn't even bother to see them. If Lynda does more than a cameo in a third installment I may see it eventually, but only to see her. I'm not a fan of what they've done with the character... the Xena knock-off costume (since Gadot can't fill Lynda's costume), giving her the characteristics of every other superhero (ability to fly from Superman, a shield like Captain America, etc.). The new version doesn't even have good eye-hand coordination to deflect bullets. She needs a shield and gauntlets covering her whole forearm whereas Lynda's version only needed wrist bracelets. 😉
