The problem being of course it will take eight years to upload one week at a time. Members can see the whole thing faster in a two episode per week cycle, finishing the entire series in four years.

He was SOOOO incredibly great…at everything…singing, writing, playing multiple instruments, sense of humor, being humble and kind to others wanting his time, and being interviewed. As famous as he became, he never got what he should have gotten for being such an amazing artist, performer, and man.

Definitely! So awesome I was born in 67 and always a fan but I noticed that our boy wearing blue jeans and a flanal shirt. He changes his look and hair from 74 on which is the look I remember. So unrefined I love it. Peace and love from the Great White North 🤟

Halloween 1987 fell on a Saturday that year. Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman were playing the Stone Pony that night. I got there after work and missed the opening song and they just starred the 2nd. The Doorman just waves me in, the place was nearly empty!!! There were more staff than audience. They played every Guess Who & B.T.O. song and I stood right in front of Burton Cummings. Nobody went out, they were either at Halloween parties at home or at the bars Halloween parties. Epic night, my ears rang for 2 days.

I was 13 and this was one of the few shows that you could see the bands, other than buying concert tickets you could only use your imagination to the songs on the radio, no images, no videos. I remember this year because it's the first time I took acid, my first trip my friend puts on this new record from Floyd, darkside, I started taking acid often.

I experienced very, very similar situation and kept chasing it, probably like you, many many times over!! Looking back, it seemed like music would take me to so many different dimensions, depending upon what kind of acid I took, who I did it with, and other factors. But man, so many wild excursions and experiences, kinda like without even leaving the farm, so to speak!!

I was sitting on the couch scrolling through Reddit and came across a post about The Rolling Stones best song, worst song, most overrated song, etc, and under “best diss song” they had “star f***er” and it triggered something in my adolescence brain about a catchy tune I used to hear on the radio when I was in junior high school. I know it wasn’t the RS song and BABY popped into my head and I google “who performed Star Baby” and found my way here. Such a great tune, so well performed, and the Midnight Special to boot! Yes, the song IS underrated. Never got a lot of airplay outside of Chicagoland because the TGW was an OUT group by 1974. Had the song by made circa 1969-1970 it would have been a monster maybe even a #1 hit.

The thing about Burton Cummings in my opinion, he could sing course, in rough form and yet still hit some great high voice notes 🎶 (American woman) and yet just as well (these eyes),(stand tall) 🎶🏆 he was very versatile 🎶🎶🏆 as a musician!... And also, how about (UnDun)!!😮 I have noticed in later years his voice has changed in singing the higher notes? Just my opinion. Thank you for all the hard work that has been accomplished in up dating these clips, videos and archives it's been a masterful job, done well! 🎶🏆 These people from the actual performers, who most are getting well up in their year's to today's awesome technicians, should be highly celebrated!
