This is my first and only ship so far. It’s been super fun. It even fits a Pulse inside just barely. Bit of a pain to get in and out with it inside, but it fits nonetheless. 😊

The Syulen's impractical, but I love it none the less. While a lot of other starter sort of ships feel like very stripped down, "point A to point B" ships, this is one of the smallest/cheapest that feels "complete" like you could entirely live out of it. The Nomad's definitely a better deal overall, but the Syulen's WAY cooler. And in the end, isn't that what REALLY matters?

having played Eve Online, you need an A to B ship. And this one has insane range. So not so impractical.

I like the different feel of this, but I completely agree: For $10 more, get the Nomad.

Depends. Styles is a better dog fighter, it’s faster, and it has 3x the quantum range. Nomad is a better space truck. So if you care more about combat and getting places quickly you want the Syulen. If you want to run cargo or vehicles, get the Nomad.

I love my Syulen. I am kinda sad it's pretty much useless with the combat changes of 3.23 but i have ingested vast amounts of copium that it will be balanced at some point.

I hope the bathroom didn't give you PTSD. At least the alien tentacle "cleaning mechanism" animations aren't live in-game . . . yet. Also, using that bathroom while the ship is in flight could be awkward. I hope there are differential gravity settings.

This is going to be my "go to X and get ship Y" ship. That quantum range is second to none.

I absolutely love this thing. It's a surprisingly polished ship compared to other CIG ship releases of late. The ship looks great on paper with regard to HP....However, the sad part is that its a COLLECTIVE HP. Its spread over a lot of parts leaving the Body HP a good deal lower. The petals can be blown off pretty easily, leaving it extremely hard to fly. This is not a great ship to fight with......HOWEVER, everything else it does well and with beautiful style and function. That fuel range though!

@@Kampski Hey I get that. Skill plays a major roll in survivability. Many PvP-oriented players do mention that the Syulen is not the greatest choice for dogfighting, but not the worst either. That being said. The mechanics are still the same. The entirety of maneuvering thrusters are on those petals and they absolutely do not have much HP per each. When you lose the petals, the ship becomes very difficult to control. This is an issue with several alien-tech ships; the Fury suffers the same issue: damage one of the easily damaged gimbal-engines and you almost completely lose control. The key when fighting in the Syulen is take advantage of the amazing maneuverability and DONT get hit. THAT's a skill thing. Since I love this ship (I mean, the color alone, Purple primary interior makes it a winner in my book) I will happily build that skill. I would love to become a deadly pilot that is simply impossible to hit in this thing!

The Gatac is a great ship all around for a “low” price.. Only thing that annoys me is that sometimes I get stuck in the small elevator 🤣 I think it’s a fantastic a fantastic ship and it’s definitely worth considering if you are new to the game and need something decently cheap to start you off with.

I had that shit for a while and I melted it down and upgraded it to something else I hated the way it took off and landed probably the best ones titan and the cutter to go for as a starter

Wow! 8/10 I would give it a 2/10 because you cant do a lot with it. It can only hold 1scu boxes. So if you can loot a bounty target and it has a 2scu box with quantum...sorry. You cant take even a pulse with you! You are slow and big with (kinda) bad dps. If you pay more you will get the nomad. If you pay less you will get the titan. There is no point to buy this ship except good quantumfuel and its cool looking. I totaly disagree with this one but beside that: you are doing a great job. keep on. :)

this thing is so cursed. it's basically just 3 massive thrusters that make you have an insanely huge profile and target, but it doesn't compensate that by actually giving you any of the thrusts advantage. that thing is a joke. typical CIG brainrot. also the rotating and hovering seat is a complete waste of opportunity. this ship *needs* to have a vtol flight that makes it spin into the same rotation as you'd go for landing and tilting the seat to allow the pilot viewing a forward and level facing direction with all the thrusters facing downwards when in atmospheric flight. basically making it look and act like a flying saucer, just with the 3 thrusters downward facing as they should.
