Wanted to thank everyone who has commented and Subscribed. It's been a fun journey so far and we are just getting started - I have quite a few videos planned....especially with the release of Pyro and Beyond!
What is Star Citizen?
Star Citizen is an in-development multiplayer, space trading and combat simulation game. The game is being developed and published by Cloud Imperium Games for Microsoft Windows. An extended retry of unrealized plans for Freelancer, Star Citizen is being led by director Chris Roberts. The game was announced via a private crowdfunding page in September 2012, and was later joined on October 18, 2012 by a successful Kickstarter campaign which drew in over US$2 million.[3] Pre-production of the game began in 2010, with production starting in 2011.

I had a Phoenix back in 3.17 and had some good times it, I definitely prefer it over the Andromeda. The only reason I can think of why I might choose another Connie over the Phoenix would be if I was purely interested in cargo running then I'd take a Taurus, but as a general every-day flyer or for some exploration/sightseeing I'd take the Phoenix every time (mind you, I'd take an MRS over any Connie in the blink of an eye, but that's a whole other story 😅); stand out feature for me is those windows in the saloon and master bedroom, it's a little thing but so cool and I wish CIG would put windows on more ships. The only negatives are the same negatives the whole Connie series has: half the stuff is non-functional, there's visual pop-in/clipping under the crew beds, it handles like a beached whale in atmo and it's visually outdated compared with the newer ships in game.

The Phoenix is such a pretty ship. I love the windows. I was about to upgrade my Cutty Red for a Conny… until they released the A1 😮

A1 is a great ship it's just a little thin on the shields for me given the width. The Connie can take a good beating.

If I can get my brother and son playing again I may upgrade to the Andromeda 🤤 , until then I’m loving the bomber tactics flight style. I sometimes jump on your server if the pop is low enough. I run a lot of target practice in Micro Tech hot spots, I’ll try to spare ya if I see you on the ground in time but JS. Don’t forget to listen and look up often 🙄🚀 lol. I appreciate your video. It rekindled my hankering for a Conny

We all have our own opinions but the constellation series is no where near gold standard, the pop up table chops your legs off 😂. Id imagine if CIG is able to establish the RSI style guide with the Polaris and the Galaxy quickly they might just opt to run through the whole ship line up down to the aurora, but thats my opinion.

I have mine from the very first run of them when it was only available as an upgrade. I want to like it, but man I think the interior needs a fresh pass. I got it as a luxury-for-me, not-for-thee kind of ship; I'd like to see the interior reflect more opulence for the captain than VIP guests, you know? I'm still hanging onto mine, holding out hope she'll turn out fine in the future, but I'd be lying if I said she wasn't a candidate for replacement.

The interior is fine, the overall design beats the crap out of the 400i/600i/890J. The views from those ships are dire, and they are old in every respect.

In this current patch salvage is still Meta. I'd say the reclaimer at the moment. But come 3.23 who knows what it will be.

I must admit until 2 days ago would never have considered a Phoenix, yet since i decided to put quality time in exploring, the Phoenix is at the top of my list.....we'll actually i now have one brought ingame. CIG have a weird play going on with the Phoenix, you can only buy it twice a year, and its a LIMITED sale, yet you can buy it Ingame?. Do i play some silly CIG mind game and spend $450+, buy ingame, or just spend $10 for 15m aUEC every 6-8 months, i think i might just go with the latter, i don't do mind games. I'm enjoying the ship immensely, and don't understand the OLD reference, its fine, just needs a few fixes. ps: I really do think backers need to lighten up, enjoy the game and buy for pleasure, not stats or spec or ''the fleet'', it just gets anal, just melt, its easy if you let it. The future will take care of itself, or let CIG do the heavy lifting, its not like you have a say in the matter anyways.
