Just sat down and watched all 5 of these one after the other. Now I’m going to go to sleep and let my sub conscious absorb all this information. Thanks for your efforts in putting these together

Great series! Finally at the point where I can grasp the concepts in this series.

Man, we really need flak to make those larger ships better... We shouldn't just be able to just kite out of effective range and kill a corvette with one light fighter. Of course, armor will help, too.

Maybe one day maybe… Also random thought, why manual turret if you can die when remote turrets you cannot die? Is it for lock on ready target name and ship?
@TUROCK3204 ай бұрын
@@Vioblight ?? why you can't die in a remote turret ? for real ? or your formulation is totally confusing ?
@Vioblight4 ай бұрын
@@TUROCK320 as far as I know. If your in a manual turret (character is actively inside) like a vanguard/constellation/hammerhead, these players at the moment can die if the turret is shot at or disabled. Remote turret users usually sit in the cockpit and remotely use turrets (M2 Hercules/MSR/etc) if the turret is shot at the gunner is not in danger of dying. Seems remote turrets have an advantage. The only disadvantage I see if they can’t see who they are targeting without exiting the remote turret for a second and reading the MFD display.

Thanks A1. I am not a good dogfighter but I watched your entire previous series and now this one. This one gives me some hope that master modes hasn't destroyed the game yet, but the massive simplification is definitely not as exciting to invest time into learning. It was really cool before that atmo and space flight were very different. Oh well CIG is gonna do what they want and I get the choice of whether or not I want to play or give them any more of my money.

When you are extending in the section with the Cutlass vs the Fury, are you coupled or de-coupled? In order for the momentum to be preserved when you flip and burn retro, is decoupled mode required? Does it make a difference? Thanks for the series, very informative!

Very good info. As a non combat flyer typically - usually in non combat ships, I’m wondering if you would be willing to share some of the evasive maneuvers / tricks that opponents have used to not get their ass shot off 😂😂 (Beyond those outlined here) Things that annoy you as a light fighter attacker ? 😜 Or is there really nothing to do beyond have a well trained escort ? Haha Perhaps as a multi crew ship - it’s best to wait until an enemy fighter comes in range and engages before showing your cards that the turrets are actually manned ? But I guess it’s smart to assume they are always manned ? Also- can you tell which turret is actually manned (active) other than when it fires ?

Yeah your right. The flight model before master modes is much closer. That model is being taken down because it's too hard for people who are not dedicated to learning. I came here specifically because it was way closer than anything I knew about. I loved that it was hard and that there was so much skill involved. I spent hours in arena commander learning it having fun the while time till I could beat arena commander in an arrow with ballistics (back then we had Tons of ammo). And it was really fun being able to defend myself against casuals with wardens. Learning was worth it. Now? Idk but I tried MM arena commander and couldn't out fly a vanguard warden anymore bcz I would run out of boost and then we were just nose to nose. At that point my heart changed. Now it's pay to win. Or very close to it. It never was before. Skill + time in the saddle always beat out people's wallets. To be fair though, I guess it's not how much you pay but rather how many friends you have... well, I'm a husband and a dad with a full time job that often spills into overtime. If I tried to have online friends I likely wouldn't have time for my family. So I don't have friends and I don't pay to win. Clearly they don't want me here, so I'm likely out

Hi Avenger, One thing I’m confused on is the corkscrew. In some of your videos, I see you do a large corkscrew where you roll to one side, while looking back at the Opponent(OP). So it’s this large corkscrew. But in a different video, I saw a very tight corkscrew, which is similar to other folks corkscrew. Where the roll with up strafe. Which one should I use for defense?

Awesome! Thanks a ton A1... Just what I needed to get me hyped to play master trash modes! Cant wait to hear the whiners that caused this ignorant mode to start pissing and moaning again because they are getting their asses kicked!

Just curious, but I was thinking about how easy it is to kill turrets and I thought of the Phalanx Shields. Would it help if they had a small phalanx that covered just the area directly in front (from the gunner's perspective)? It could be balanced by disabling the guns while active. Effectively making the turret indestructible, but useless.
@D-rizzy314 ай бұрын
the extensions... what have I been doing lmfao.. just spinning and dying is what lol
@ImperiomSineFine3 ай бұрын
Hi, to anyone that can answer. When goin defensive, A1 is talking about making a 90 degree angle in regard of the attacker and use the main thruster to corkscrew, does it mean that I just need to boost forward and use only the pitch to make the movement ? Or do I still need to at least strafe up or sideways to make the corkscrew ? On the video when he is going defensive in regard to the arrow chasing, it seems he is only boosting in a straight line that's why I'm confused
@noelleweiss37723 ай бұрын
what's a good option to fight someone using those sorts of extensions from the smaller ship's perspective? bad idea to try and fall in directly behind them predicting them to just let me blow by, then follow more closely as they rotate to backstrafe?
