I don't think there should be, I'm of the belief that PvE servers would destroy the vision CIG want for the game. It's like playing Tarkov and getting mad because you lost your gear when killed

Thing is, private servers could also be PvP modded. Org events and training could be conducted as well as random modded stuff. It also would mean the game could continue to be played after the servers were turned off for good.

If CIG puts pve on different servers it takes away all meaning from the game. It's the pve with the pvp that also makes this game unique.

The objective that I love about this unique game is to be a game that is as close to real life as possible.

I think having separate instances of PvP and PvE shouldn’t happen officially. I do think the ability to have a very simple scaled down private server could work out well. I know way back people were planning things like Star Wars, Stargate and other space related mods for fun with this private server stuff CiG mentioned way back. As long as the servers you can have private take away more than they can give you, I don’t see much of an issue with it. It would also allow the game to live on when the Live servers go offline.
