CIG has some of the most amazing programmers and developers in the industry. Two and a half years to get planetary navigation-meshing working? Legendary! It has taken me two years to get nav-meshing to a functioning state in the game I’m working on. And my worlds are only between four and sixteen square Kilometers. CIG has entire planets. Just wow.

Just aesthetically, I really wish they had kept the awesome looking jump gate ring. It looks way cooler, imposing, and more epic than how they look now. Why the change? Is it lore reasons or technical issues?

There will eventually be different size jump points. The larger ones will more than likely have the ring structure

Now me I would prefer the mission info to say that you need a ship that " can take a 32scu crate " or " store 124scu of cargo" but also could say "needs to land planet side" like a real world job offer you wouldnt take on a job without knowing the basics! eg. trying to pick up a load that you need an articulated lorry and you turn up in a 7.5t flat back LOL

Branding team and Ship team makes me think that we will get a new racing ship. I heard some speculation about a (another?) Intel sponsered ship too. Last time it was the Sabre Raven for buying a Intel Optane SSD. Maybe this time it will be a ARC GPU?

I wonder, can the cargo mission be combined? Like if we have multiple commissions from Hurston and its moon, to deliver to maybe Microtech. Can we use our medium freighter like Freelancer or Hull A from planet/moon surfaces to the LEO station of Hurston (I forgot the name), take our caterpillar and then deliver them to Microtech LEO station (I also forgot), and from then on we use the medium freighter to do the deliveries to the planet surfaces?

Regarding the audio, I'm all about the realistic mode. It's so much more immersive in my opinion. That being said, I want more cockpit audio indicators that will indicate damage and other threats or status issues. And not necessarily just a betty, which can get irritating after a while.

If CIG actually put the MISC Raptor into the game to let people go around places like area 18 sweeping up all the trash bottles left everywhere I would but it (for AUEC) and use it. and I know I wouldn't be alone.

Speaking on the Legionnaire, it is my suspicion that its hacking feature will be gated by Resource Managment and will be "placeholdered" until Power Distribution/Engineering is T0.

One little thing I noticed. They said that three legacy ships were updated to receive paints. I believe there are only three ships that haven’t received paints yet. 890j, Terrapin and Gladiator.
