Some extra notes to add; I did this as a quick test just to see how a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM held up against the latest Star Citizen HUD they added in awhile back, and can't say that I'm really satisfied with it, I previously was running a 5800x3d, at about 20-30 less FPS, but before the HUD update, I more or less had the same FPS in rooms as the 9800x3d here. Just another symptom of the devs not really caring on what they add in is optimized or not. Can only hope that they somehow manage to add in Vulkan proper and fix the FPS problem, but I doubt it, it likely will be a full year before anything happens with that.
Another thing; I am running the RAM at a slower speed for better stability, as building this system up had some hiccups, and I've been slowly working on fixing all the issues that came with installing a new motherboard and cloning a SSD to a NVME. I will also add that I'm operating on windows 10, and not 11.
As for any other notes, 48GB will work just fine with star citizen, I took the extra RAM in case of any potential memory leak issues that may arise from this game, as it has in the past and caused fps issues.
