OK, NOW I wan't to see Star Convoy randomly isekai-ing people by punching them in the face. To be honest, I was really let down when I first saw the toy pictures of Star Convoy and Super Megatron in TFWiki. Even the base-mode looks kinda half-hearted, I guess his motorized features was the real selling point and not much else.

Awesome review. Reminds me of when I did my own modern Optimus review with the different versions. Love the background and the toys were very interesting. My favorite was possibly the last one since he looks closer to the show than the others. Diggin the obscure TF! Eager to see the next one.

Great review! I own a copy of the Generations Selects version and I love it. Though I've done sone custom painting to it to give Star Convoy chrome hands and thighs, and making the inner optimus colors like the G1 cartoon.

You’re certainly right about Powermaster Optimus Prime, not many like him at all especially the normal release with the non-retracting fists. And now we have the Generations Select Powermaster Star Convoy, quite a well received attempt at the G1.

The thing about the "victory, zone, battlestars and operation combination" wouldn't take long. To complete; the casts of those series are so small. Heck they already did all the big autobot for "zone" if you don't mind an being "titan" masters. The 2019 star convoy fits if ya one if you nasty. Id want a manga accurate one I love that robot and truck never seen the base.id want a bigger super megatron also (unless they made star convoy a voyager which I would not mind.) The 2019 small bot is great for a evil convoy.

Activate Teletraan I… Star Convoy is a very nice G1 Transformer and one of the most desirable next to Sky Garry and Grandus, as part of the Return of Convoy line in 1991. Very good retrospective! Shame the reissue was only a Japanese exclusive: the new redone windows from the 1991 version makes a great new look.
