Star-Joy Gold Edition First Time Pencil Reveal

I just started coloring four months ago. I am an artist. But could never work colored pencils. When I picked up a pack of cheap pencils at Walmart I started to KZbin ... Before long I picked up the 72 prismas, then the 150.. things stared making sense but I thought I won't be able to keep up considering the price so I bought a few budget sets . Shuttle Art, Arteza, Zenacolors, Soucoler finally I figured let me try the Star Joy Gold. I am loving life today. My husband however looked at the bank account and put the brakes on . But time was on my side because I got that last order in right in the nick of time 😂😂😂. I appreciate this community today it has helped me. I am a recovering heroin addict and I'm now considering becoming an art therapist. In today's world it's needed . Thank you for all you do for fellow artists. This is a game changer. Be blessed . ❤

I am sad I missed the live but can't wait for them! Now if only Prisma, Holbein, Caran D'ache, Derwent, and Poly Chromos would hire Lori to organize their pencils! I have always used Prisma as my calibration set, looks like there is a new calibration set in town...much easier to use!

These are the first pencils truly sensitive to ALL levels of artists and very clearly designed by an artist. These pencils are also exquisite to look at & appear to be comfy to hold...I can't wait to take them for a test drive. I love that you have grouped the pencils into dark, medium and light and then numbered them sensibly so that they are easy to find and easy to put back. I also like the addition of the R or B etc. More like how paints are labelled. They are very pretty pencils. The pastel shades look lovely and I like the addition of a straight 'red' or 'green'. It can be so hard to find a proper red. They are easy to read. I'm hoping to put them on my Christmas list when you sort out the European (UK) sales channel.

I absolutely love everything about it... barrels are such perfection, with the easily read printing; the closet match between barrel paint and pencil core I've ever seen; the grouping of the colors Will make our choice of blends much easier for everyone! I'm imagining that other companies are going to sit up and take notice! Finally, a set done correctly. I cannot thank you Lori, and Andy for collaborating... this is simply the best looking set I've ever seen for everyone. As a person with Parkison's I color for therapy. The original Star Joy color pencils have been very easy on my hands. Even when I'm stiff and shakey I can still color easy with Star Joy. I am really looking forward to this Gold edition. Coloring has saved my sanity when dealing with my mobility issues.
